I swiped my arm across my mouth after spitting out the metallic blood that had filled my mouth in a very ladylike manner.
Apparently, Lucas had thought it was a great idea to just allow his little slut to do whatever she wanted with the money, which sadly enough on my part included learning some type of ancient fighting style I won’t even attempt to pronounce.
I guess it’s a good thing I learned how to street fight, or street box, when we lived in that one neighborhood with the creepy tatted up guys who wouldn’t mind dragging a girl into a dark alley and um, buttering her buns, if you know what I’m getting at.
Let’s just say after that one guy tried to take my friend Jenn they never tried dragging me into an alleyway.
I heard clapping and I zoned back into the present, ignoring the past for a little while.
“Good job, milady.” Lucas smirked at me, lazily clapping his hands together.
I looked down at the limp body lying beside me, who was thankfully still breathing; I don’t really plan on becoming a murderer anytime soon.
I rubbed my cheek, which I’m confident was swollen and purple by now and frowned at him.“I can’t believe I bit my cheek when she hit me, like what kind of coincidence is that?!”
I frowned, spitting more blood out into the bowl that Lucas had brought and laid out on the ground.
“Why would you even keep her around? She’s psycho!” I yelled, sounding less angry and threatening because of the blood that continued to flow into my mouth.
A worried look crossed over Lucas’ face quickly as I spit out another mouthful of blood.
When I looked up again, expecting him to still be standing there, watching me with amusement in his eyes, he wasn’t, he was right next to me.
“Shit, are you okay? I didn’t even think about this, Fuck! You’ve been spitting out a lot of blood, are you dizzy? Shit!”
He continued to yell and as I shook my head to answer his previous ‘are you dizzy’ question, a wave of nausea swept over me. The corners of my eyes were blackening, and slowly closing in, until it was at the point to which there was nothing but darkness.
*Lucas’ POV*
Shit.
Shit.
Shit.
She just fainted, I think. I mean in movies it’s a bit more dramatic, whereas Lynne just kind of slumped forward slowly , shaking her head the entire time.
Is she alive?
I felt my eyes widen as I pulled out my phone and called the doctor that worked for my gang. I put it on speaker, listening to his instructions as he told me how to check her pulse and make sure she was breathing.
Thankfully, she was.
I don’t know what I would’ve done if she wasn’t
Probably… cried or something.
Did I seriously just think that? God I’m becoming such a chick.
I looked down briefly, seeing Lynne laying on the ground still and quickly picked her up and cradled her in my arms.
“Time to take you to your tia.” I sighed, walking towards my truck.
****Lynne POV****
My head was throbbing. Everything looked familiar.
I was clutching onto the side of the train as the next turn neared. My little hands were yellowish white from holding on as tight as I could. We we're almost there, almost at the spot on the train station where we would jump off.
