Despite how cold it is in dragonspine I frequently come here to see a certain alchemist. That's why I'm here now. I could feel the coldness on the tip of my nose and cheeks. I put my hands over my cheeks trying to warm up at least a little bit. I look up to see how far away from Albedo's "research camp" is from me. Luckily it wasn't that much farther. I pick up my pace a bit excited for 2 things. 1 the warmth of the place, and 2 seeing Albedo. When I get close enough I peak around the rocky wall. I don't see Albedo. 'He must be out collecting things for research' I think to myself. I see a post with a fire lit I walk over and warm up a bit. 'I don't wanna go back out and look for him I could just wait for him.' I think questioning my choice a bit. I decide to stay and if he's not here in a certain amount of time I'll go out and look for him. I sit and lean against the wall. I close my eyes relaxing a little.
Albedo's Pov: I grab my drawing off the canvas and start to head back. 'That should be good for now.' I had just finished studying how hilichurls behave when there is no threat. It was calming it was quiet,peaceful, no words said kind of calming. I begin to make my way up to my camp. As I make my way up the hill leading to camp. I look up and see Y/N a pleasant surprise. A small smile appears on my face. I like their presence. As I approach my camp I see their eyes are closed. 'Depending on how long they've been there the possibility they're asleep is reasonable.' I set my canvas on my table and walk back over to them. I crouch down to be face to face with them I tap their shoulder trying to wake them in a gentle way. I tap their shoulder again.
Reader pov: I open my eyes slightly seeing Albedo's turqoise ones staring back at me., I feel my face heat up slightly because of how close he was. He taps my nose and holds my face in his hands. His hands were warm it felt nice. He pulls his hands away and says," You're cold come relax near the fire." I listen and sit next to the fire and rub my hands together. I see Albedo looking at me with a tiny smile showing on his features. I look away and back at the fire. I hear Albedo speak and break the silence," I like when you come visit me. Timaeus is nice company but he stays in mondstat for long periods of time. And you come here out of free will it's nice knowing someone cares enough to go through dragaonspine to see me." I smile and nod I say back," I like coming to see you. You listen to me even if I get carried away rambling about random things." "That's because I like listening to your voice." He says bluntly. I feel a small blush slowly appear on my face. I look back at the fire and hear Albedo come sit next to me. I slowly move closer to him and put my head on his shoulder. He puts his head on mine and put his hand over mine. A moment later he moves away and I look at him trying not to show my sadness. He kisses my cheek and holds my hand. His words quickly follow," Y/N you are one of the first people I genuinely care about and knowing you care about me gives me a feeling of butterflies in my stomach. And I want you to stay with me. Through every snow storm,thunder storm, or any other obstacles I want to conquer together. Will you be my person?" I stare in shock a bit before hugging him and nodding. After the initial freak out we go back to sitting by the fire together relaxing. The warm orange glow of the flames making me feel calm and comfortable. I rest my head on Albedo's chest as he plays with my hair and rubs my head. I feel at peace with him. I love him and I'm so happy I can call him, my alchemist.
