I smiled at Y/N while they laughed at their own joke, I admired the light in their eyes. They were such a pleasure to be around, but I want their presence to myself. I hate seeing them happy with anyone that isn't me. "Xiao? Xiao!" I was disrupted in my thoughts,"You're spacing out again...Is everything alright?" I nodded trying to sound normal as I spoke,"Yeah I'm just getting impatient waiting for...what's his name again?" They rolled their eyes smiling,"Cassius, Xiao his name is Cassius." Damn they were gorgeous, I loved them. I wanted to have them to myself for as long as I could, never having to worry about them giving attention to anyone else but me...that is the perfect life. I narrowed my eyes as I saw a boy smile at them as he walked over,"Hey Y/N sorry I took a little long." They smiled back making my heart twist and tighten with jealousy. I side eyed the boy, he had blonde hair and brown eyes, although I can admit I wanted to see the light in his eyes fade out as he died."It's no worry Cassius, I was just talking to Xiao, Xiao this is Cassius the boy I told you about." I pushed down my jealousy and reluctantly gave him a small wave,"Hey Cassius, nice to...meet you finally Y/N has told me a lot about you." Cassius smiled down at Y/N,"Y/N i thought you were kidding when you said you talk about me." He asked them they smiled,"Yes Cassius you're a great friend who wouldn't I tell people about about you. I felt like I was going to suffocate with how angry I was getting,"Hey um Y/N I actually have to go I'll talk to you later." I waved at them which they happily returned, I only glared at Cassius as I walked away.

I walked with a clenched fist. How could Y/N even tolerate someone like him. My only thoughts were of him dying, and me being the one standing over his lifeless limp body. These thoughts made me happy, he was like the last obstacle in the way of my perfect life with Y/N, and I was determined to over come it. I walked for a little along the road near the statue of seven near the Guili plains. I wanted to wait a bit before going back to Y/N. I craved to be in their presence, I craved their touch, and their love. I knew how I was going to get rid of Cassius, I was going to murder him, like I did those before him, the ones who tried to take Y/N from me, but just killing him wouldn't be enough for me I knew I was going to make him endure the most painful torture before I finally released him from the chains of agony. I didn't torture the others that bad, but Cassius is different I killed the others before they got to close to Y/N, but today is the first time I've met Cassius in person so I didn't get to eliminate him when their friendship was new so they have a stronger relationship. I hated that, I was the only one they needed, I was the only one that they should have in their life, they were the light of my life why can't I be the only light of their's?

I looked down at the ground as I kept walking, until I heard my name,"Xiao? Xiao please come back." I knew it was Y/N I quickly made my way back to them.

"What is it Y/N?" I asked concerned, they quickly turned and hugged me,"I was starting to get worried, I thought you were going to come back quick. I kinda missed you." They said getting a little flustered near the end of their sentence. I hugged them back enjoying the gesture, I got sad when they pulled back smiling up at me,"I'm sorry, I didn't realize you and Cassius wouldn't get along." I shook my head,"Don't worry about it." I gritted my teeth at his name,"Where did he go anyway?" I asked wanting to know where he went so I could catch him,"I think he's Walking back to Wangshuu." I nodded my head and spent some more time with Y/N so they wouldn't be suspicious of me leaving. After the sun had gone down, I knew I needed to go,"Hey Y/N it's getting kind of late and I have something to do so I wouldn't be able to walk you home after, so do you just want to go now?" They nodded,"Oh, yeah let's go." They walked close by my side holding onto my arm. Night was always my favorite time, I always walked Y/N home and they would always hold onto my arm when we walked, it made me happy.

When we got to their house they smiled and waved,"See you tomorrow good night Xiao." I waved back,"Yeah, I'll see you too good night Y/N." I smiled and as soon as they shut the door I used my speed to quickly catch up to Cassius luckily he was still on the road he must've run into some monsters, I'm glad he didn't get hurt though, because now I know all the injuries he had when I was done was because of me. I quickly went behind him summoning my pole arm and quickly putting my arms out and pressing the handle of my weapon against his neck he grabbed the the handle and tried to pull it away he started fighting back, I kept pressing harder he started trying to kick me. His attempts at escape were feeble and pathetic. He started fighting weaker as he started to pass out due to lack of oxygen. When his body went limp I put my weapon away I put his body over my shoulder, going to an old ruin village near by.
