Baby Sitting- Albedo X Reader

"Are you sure Jean?" I question the blonde. She nodded with a smile,"Yeah Y/N I need you to watch Klee while I do some work. It should be easy. You know she's a good kid." I looked at the floor."Yeah but I don't really trust myself." I admitted. "Oh is that the problem? Albedo is in town why don't you have him help. I'm sure he'll be more than happy. It is you after all." She smirked as she emphasized the last few words. I went to speak but caught myself. I didn't mind watching Klee but she's a little energetic. Which is good for her age but it's a little much. Whenever I've watched her in the past I was scared to look away then her be gone the second I looked back. I took a deep breath as I turned to walk out of her office."Goodbye Y/N I think Albedo is in the library by the way." She said as I heard her footsteps behind me."Bye Jean and thanks." I walked out and waved to Lisa as I past her. I assumed she went in Jean's office cause I heard the door open. I walked over to the library and opened the door.

I looked over the railing and saw Albedo and Klee. I kept my eye on them as I walked around to the stairs I was curious. Klee had a book open in front of her as I got closer I could hear her voice."The c-cor-" She paused."Courageous." Albedo helped."The courageous knight and the pretty princess lived happily ever after." She finished with a big smile as she looked up at Albedo. I awed at the sight."You did it! Well done Klee." Albedo said in a soft yet proud voice. I walked the rest of the way down the stairs. "Hey Albedo." I smiled as I greeted. He turned his head a bit,"Oh, Y/N hello how pleasent." He smiled. Klee quickly looked up at me,"Hiiiii Y/N! Guess what I read a whole book with only a little help." She said with a precious smile."Really?! You're so smart!" I smiled as I praised her. "Why don't you go put the book back Klee?" Albedo suggested. Klee happily stood up and did what she was told. Albedo stood up and fixed his jacket. He also quickly gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Does it feel nice to be out of the snow?" I asked smiling. He nodded,"It also feels nice to not be so far from you." He said making me blush. I heard footsteps and saw Klee return."I put it back! Can we go outside now?!" She said as she rocked on her heels. Albedo nodded,"Yes come on. Y/N are you coming?" He turned to me."I actually was supposed to look after her. Jean asked me to." I clarify. He nods and we all walk out of the library and out of the headquarters.

Klee ran in front of us as we exited the building. "Come on quick! I wanna go flower picking for master Jean!" She yelled I picked up my pace as did Albedo. "Ok ok calm down." I said as I got closer. "What color flowers are you gonna pick for her?" I questioned as I walked beside Klee, Albedo at her other side."Hmm I think she'll like yellow or white, maybe blue." She got lost in her thoughts. We got closer to the front gate as we walked in a comfortable silence while Klee thought intently about what color to pick. Our shoes hit the stone bridge as we walked over it. "So have you decided?" I asked Klee. "Yeah I'm gonna get her blue and white flowers!" Klee said excitedly. "Sounds like a great choice." Albedo said in his usual soft tone."I know a good area as well." He added. "Well,, what are you waiting for?! Let's go!" Klee said as she started walking faster. I sped up to keep in tune with her pace. Albedo pointed,"It's that way." His gentle voice said it made my heart swoon just like the first time I heard it.

After some walking I saw a open area in the distance."That's it." Albedo pointed."Ooo we're so close come on!" Klee grabbed both our hands practically dragging us. The field got closer and closer until we were standing in it. Klee then let go of our hands and ran around grabbing flowers and mumbling to herself. Me and Albedo sat down in silence as we watched the little blonde run. Albedo suddenly spoke,"Do you ever wonder if we'll have a family one day?" I blushed heavily,"What did you say?" I asked covering my face."I mean do you ever wonder what it would be like if we ever had(or adopted) a kid." I took a moment to think."I- I don't know. Kids are a lot of work." Albedo looked at the ground,"Yes but...I..it would be manageable. Plus I wouldn't just have you do all the work. You don't think of Mr that way right?" I immediately replied,"No no not at all it's just you work a lot so...I don't know how it would work out." "I wouldn't put work above our kid. I don't put it above you." I went to say something but Klee came over holding something."Look! I made us all friend ship bracelets out of flowers. Albedo gets yellow and Y/N gets white." Sbe said as she put our bracelets on,"And I get red." She put her own on. "Thank you Klee I love it. It's very pretty." I said smiling."It is very pretty I like it." Albedo said after. "I also finished Master Jean's flower crown." She held out a string of flowers in the pattern blue,white,blue,white,etc. "I wanna give it to her now. Can we go back?" Klee asked. I nodded as me and Albedo stood up. Klee walked in front of us talking about random things. Albedo grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. I smiled and looked at the ground as we walked.

We crossed the stone bridge to the city. Klee began to run instead of walk. Me and Albedo picked up our pace. "Come on slow pokes!" Klee said giggling. "We're coming you're just so fast." I joked. We started to go yp the flights of stairs to the Knights Headquarters. Klee stopped at the top of the last steps as we caught up. "Finally I've been waiting here for years!" She smiled. I giggled as we walked closer to the building. When we did get to the door Albedo opened it for us."Thank you!" Klee said as she passed him. I smiled,"Thanks." He smiled back as we all walked in. Klee headed straight for Jean's office and knocked before she opened the door."Master Jean! Look!" Klee held out the flower crown."For me? Aww you're so nice Klee." Jean said smiling. Klee smiled back and hugged Jean. She hugged back."Come on Klee you need to do your reading." Albedo said gently. Klee sighed over dramatically,"Ok I'm coming." She walked over to Albedo and waved to me and Jean as she exited the room. Albedo gave me a kiss on the cheek and smiled before he turned and left the room. "So, how was babysitting?" Jean asked with a smirk. "Not to bad actually." I smiled."I told you it would be ok." Jean smiled,"Yeah I guess you're right." I smiled. I waved as I opened her door and left her office. I guess babysitting wasn't something to worry about. At least not with Albedo's help.
