Ritwik felt paralysed. He couldn't think straight nor could he act straight. He felt as if his breath had hitched. Seeing her choking he had rushed towards her ignoring the surprised stares of the onlookers. She will be fine his mind chanted  hoping that it would be true.

He picked her up with caution as if she were some porcelain doll and rushed hurriedly down the stairs not even bothering to wait for the lift. It was a long walk for him. He felt empty at the thought of something happening to her and he was numbed to the extend to even notice that the petite Figure in his hands had stopped choking and was gaping at him with a soft gaze.

The light touch on his cheek made him look at her captivating eyes " I am alright Sir. That was a prank on Sushil. The whole staff knows" Thud!! and Mishti Khanna was dropped to the floor to face a glaring Ritwik Noon. He did not know how to respond and only he knew the storm that was brewing inside him for the past few minutes.

"Sir,.." Mishti began as she stood up trying to explain. "Mishti Please!! Stay away from me for a while. I don't know how I am going to react" saying this he strode off to his car driving away in anger.

"Ritwik, you have already drunk a lot. Now come let me drop you home" Paras tried reasoning his friend as he was about  to order another drink. Ritwik looked at him miserably and began his rant again making Paras roll his eyes "Meri toh phat gayi thi yaar. Uss Saman I could not think about the Office or staff. Why would she do that to me? Whatever but why is this affecting me??"

"Do you love her Ritwik ?" came an earnest question out of the blue. Ritwik gave him a shocked look, shook his head and denied " Love!!! No way that's ridiculous. Pyaar Vyaar nahi hai yaar. But patha nahi kuch thoh hai"

Is it true? Is it possible? Has he started falling for her. Ritwik's mind was hit by a tornado as he tossed in his bed that night. No Ritwik you can't be falling in love again!!! After all that happened! No way. I need to stay away from that Girl. Yeah from tomorrow its mission 'Avoid Mishti'  and with that weak resolution Mr.Ritwik Noon went to sleep not knowing that destiny's games are way beyond his will.
