Ritwik could not stop himself. The disheveled figure of the woman before him evoked feelings unknown to him, he rushed into the rainy road and took her under his umbrella. Mishti, still in her trance went with him and later in her senses she would be surprised at how she randomly trusted a stranger. It was strange yet soothing.
They drove through the heavy downpour until Ritwik stopped the car at a nearby teastall. With no words exchanged they got off and sat in a table at a corner.
"BhaiSaab Kya loge(Brother, What will you have?)" the waiter asked. "Do Chai( Two Cups Of tea)" "One Chai and One Coffee Pls" she corrected him. Ritwik was taken aback as he heard her speak for the first time.Badi akad hai ladki mein.Until now she couldn't even utter a word but can order a coffee. Who on earth has coffee instead of Chai. Oh god I don't like her already!! I can't even wait to drop her off at her house. he rolled his eyes in annoyance
"Thanks" She whispered as in reply to his mind voice. Seeing his surprised look she explained "Thank You for taking care of me, I don't know how I would have handled myself all alone in this rain and state of mind" Utni bhi buri nahi Hai yaar His mind chriped again contradicting it's earlier verdict.
