The Lie

Mishti felt horrible at the prospect of having to break Ruhaan's heart. But she could also not do this to herself. She was not ready for any relationship. Especially after what happened with Lakshya. Her heart also tried to remind her about her 'Khadoos Sexy Wolf' which she ignored proficiently like how she had been doing for a while. She looked at Ruhaan's expectant expression and with a certain sternness in her voice she said " I am sorry Ruhaan. I don't think I am yet ready for a relationship" Ruhaan smiled and said in an understanding tone " I know Mishti but I want you to know that I am there waiting for you until you are ready" No!! That's not what she wants so she hurriedly adds "No it's not like what you think Ruhaan. I am already in a relationship with someone and I don't want to give you hopes of a future that is not possible"

Though his heart felt too heavy Ruhaan put on a fake smile and showed enthusiasm."That's Great Mishti even though I hate to loose you out to someone else I am happy that finally you have someone in your life. You deserve every happiness in the world Mishti. But promise me you will make me meet him soon"

"Sure Ruhaan we will arrange a meeting this week itself" Only she knew how she prayed to every God for a miracle for she had just lied and from where on earth would she get a fake boy friend in such a short time.

It's been two days since her meeting with Ruhaan and she still had not got an idea about her imaginary boyfriend. Mishti was so lost in her thoughts that she failed to see that she had bumped into someone. And that someone turned out to be the exact  person she had been avoiding for a while - her boss Mr. Ritwik Noon.

She was no fool and she had understood how he too was keeping a distance just like her. So it really surprised her when he asked her to come to his office suddenly. Help me Bappa!! she prayed as she entered the wolf's cabin.
