Tom's POV
I woke up early this morning from my headache, which was surprising. I would always wake up at around 12 pm when I had a hangover. It was 7:42 am and it was still dark outside, but because of the headache, I couldn't fall asleep again. So I got up and looked through the window.
It was... SNOWING?!
"What in the name of my precious bass Susan is going on?!" I exclaimed, confused as hell. It was literally summer yesterday and now it's snowing?!
(Jeez, these climate changes are getting worse and worse each day. Thanks global warming.) I finally realised how cold it was. I started shivering as I was trying to find my hoodie in a pile of clothes. After I put on my hoodie I ran to the living room to turn on the news.
"Today's weather report is extreme snow all around England. This weird anomaly will last just one day and the snow will melt by tomorrow. As the day passes, the blizzard will become softer. The question, though, is what could have caused this much snow in August, of all months? We are suspecting that it might have something to do with the Re-"
"IT'S SNOWING?!" I heard Edd yell from his room. It startled me and I accidentally pressed my arm on the TV remote, changing the channel.
Edd ran in the room. He stopped when he saw me. "Tom?... Did you know-" "It's snowing. Yeah, I know. Everyone heard your loud scream." I finished what Edd was about to say.
"Oh, sorry!" Edd smiled awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. "Turn on the news!"
"They say that this will last only today and that it will melt by tomorrow." I said because Edd just missed the news.
"Oh... well that's just great. How did this even happen?" Edd asked me, hoping for a clear answer. "I dunno. Probably because of global warming." I shrugged.
Matt and [Y/N] walked into the living room, looking tired and confused.
"What happened? Why did you scream that it's snowing?" [Y/N] glanced at Edd, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah, you woke me up! I need sleep to look this pretty, y'know." Matt was acting narcissistic as always. "And did you turn up the air conditioner because it's kinda cold in here?"
"Look outside the window." I pointed to the nearest window.
They both looked through the same window, but had different reactions. Matt was suddenly very excited. He was too dumb to be confused by this. [Y/N], on the other hand, had a mix of confusion, shock and dismay on her face. Basically, she was making a weird face.
"Yay! It's snowing!" Matt threw his hands up in the air from the excitement.
"Wha-? How-? Huh?!" [Y/N] was so confused, she didn't even know what to say. "The summer didn't even end yet! How is it snowing?!"
Both me and Edd shrugged.
"Who cares?! Snow is fun! We can make snowmen and angels in it, we can have snowball fights, we can eat it-" "You can't do that in a blizzard." I interrupted Matt in his rant about how he loves snow.
"Aww..." Matt sniffled.
Half of the day we spent chilling on the couch, watching TV, as always. We couldn't go outside at all. The wind and snow were too strong. We had bacon for lunch because everyone was too lazy to make something more complex. After a few more hours of watching TV, Matt looked through the window again.
"Guys, It's not snowing that much anymore! Can we go outside now?~" He exclaimed with joy.
[Y/N] looked through the window as well to confirm if it really wasn't snowing that much. "I'm down. Watching TV all day is boring anyway.
