Your POV
We were all exhausted when we finally pulled up to Edd's house. We all grabbed as much boxes from the car as we could.
"Edd, maybe you should sit this one out." Matt said, seeing that Edd was now super-duper extra tired.
"What? No, I'm fine. In fact, I can probably carry all of these boxes, all at once!" (He couldn't carry that even if he wasn't tired.) Edd tried to sound full of energy, but we could all see that he was tired... except Matt apparently, because the moment Edd said that, Matt gave him all of his boxes, doubling the weight Edd already had to carry.
Oh, well that's great Edd! Now my posture is going to look marvelous." Matt exclaimed with joy, straightening his back.
"ᴺᵒ ᵖʳᵒᵇˡᵉᵐ." Edd said, his voice cracking from the weight. He soon dropped all the boxes on the concrete floor. Thankfully, he didn't break anything inside of them... or inside of him.
Matt unlocked the door to Edd's house and let me go in first. "Ladies first." He said. "Thanks." I thanked him, letting myself in.
When I entered the house, the first thing I saw was stairs to the upper floor and lots of doors to other rooms. "Where is my room?" I asked Matt. "Um... pretty sure you don't have one."
"What?!" I stared at Matt in shock. (Where are we going to put all of my stuff then?!) I thought in panic when Edd came in. "Your room is down the hall to the right."
"Isn't that Tom's room?" Matt said confused. "That was my old room. Then you guys turned it into a pool, remember?" Tom walked in, looking annoyed.
"Oh yeeeeah, we did do that!" Matt laughed, making Tom even more angry. "Wait, they turned your old room into a pool?" I was talking to Tom on our way to my new room. "Yeah, it was really hard to clean it without flooding our whole house. We also painted the walls and everything."
When we got into the room, it looked really empty. There was only a mattress on the floor with a blanket on it. "Sorry, we didn't have time to buy a bed." Edd sighed, putting down the boxes.
"Are you kidding me?! This is awesome! You did all this work just so I could sleep here. I can't thank you enough!~" I really didn't know how to thank him and his friends.
"Aww, it was nothing." Edd said, giving me a tired smile. Matt and Tom looked at him angrily, as if disapproving of this statement.
After we finished unpacking some of my stuff, we all got tired and went to lay down a bit.
Tom and Matt went to the living room to watch some TV and Edd went to his room, hopefully to sleep. I was left alone. I sat on the mattress and turned my phone on. (8:14 pm.) The light from my phone illuminated the room. I started to fall asleep while scrolling through my messages.
Matt's POV
I was watching The Children on TV with Tom. After season three, the TV show started to get boring, so I decided to talk with Tom. "Hey Tom, isn't it weird that Edd never mentioned [Y/N] to us before?"
"I guess." He answered vaguely, taking a sip from his flask. "Don't you think it would be big news that Edd was dating someone?" Tom almost spat out his drink after I said that.
"Edd isn't dating [Y/N]." He tried to hold in a laugh. "He said they were just childhood friends."
"Oh... Do you think I have a chance with her?" I joked, making a smug face. "No." Tom didn't even hesitate to answer. It made me kinda sad.
"Now that I think about it, Edd has been doing all of these tiring things just for [Y/N] to live with us. He isn't really that much of a workaholic, unless it's got something to do with animation." Tom was muttering to himself. "He might not be dating her, but it looks like he's trying to impress her."
I wasn't really listening to Tom. I was just thinking how cool it would be for me to have a girlfriend. I snapped out of my daydreaming when Tom asked me a question. "What do you think?"
"Uhh... Yes... No, no, no... No?" I saw Tom's expression changing from confused to annoyed.
"You weren't listening, were you?"
"No... YES! No wait, no."
"Why do I even try...?"
(Sorry for not posting daily. I'm still not done with chapter 11... Help. I just don't feel like writing. I've been pretty lazy this week. Probably because it's that time of the month again, but I think I'm having writers block... Yay... Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter even though I personally think it's boring!)
