-Grian-
He glared at the portal to Hermitcraft. It had been a long day and he really didnt want to go back right then. He went and sat on a couch that simply appeared in the plain room.He looked around the large room. There were three big screens lining the main wall and now couches and chairs on the other side, backs to a wall of windows. The room was changing around him, which should have been more concerning than he found it. He stood up and looked out the windows. They looked out over a huge map. He saw a jungle, some mountains, a ravine, a pillager outpost, among other things.
Grian frowned and blinked. The world had changed back to what it was before, the wreckage of the old Last Life server. Well. The map for the new season was chosen, but the code wasnt ready. He continued to stare out the window until he felt someone watching him from the middle of the room. The avian turned around to see Martyn again. He didnt even question why they were there.
"Go away, Martyn. You dont belong here anymore." Martyn rolled his eyes
"If I didnt belong, you'd have unwhitelisted me." Grian sighed, turning back to the window. "Grian, I want to prove that i'm not against you."
"And how do you plan to manage that?" Grian asked warily, turning again back to Martyn.
-Martyn-
"I've been searching and searching and I found something." he said, pulling a book out of his inventory. "This book has special properties and-" he paused, Grian looked horrified at the sight of the book. "Are you okay?"
"Necro- how- how did you get Necro?" Martyn shrugged, rightfully assuming that this book was 'Necro'. "Give him to me-" Grian reached towards the book.
"Hey- wait." Martyn pulled the book out of Grian's reach. "Give me a minute." he sighed "I thought you could use this to help with-"
"SAM!" he grabbed the book and held it close to him so that Martyn couldnt get it. "I'll- I'll use it on Sam!"
"Wait- no, Grian- thats- you cant do that. You know what that book does, right?" Grian began laughing, it started with a small giggle and grew.
"Of course I do. Its the book of death, a one way ticket to purgatory. I'LL SEND HIM BACK TO THE STUPID ISLAND HE TRAPPED US ON!" Martyn stepped away, fear flashing in his eyes.
"Grian-" he'd thought Grian would use it for- well- anything but hurting someone. That just wasnt like Grian. Okay- thats an over exaggeration. Grian would totally hurt someone with no regrets, but to send someone to an eternal hell on purpose?!
"He'll pay." Grian's voice was creepy.
"I- I'll go now- th-think about- uh- forgiving me- or whatever-" he said quickly before rushing to a portal and stepping through.
