-Don't ship it! Hah. Yeah I don't like sibling ships....

What was that? You didn't know they where siblings? Hah! Well, let me tell you about it then.

Hermione and Annabeth where twins, born to Athena and Mr. Chase. Hermione, from a tender age, was neglected by Athena and did not poses her powers. Annabeth, on the other hand, seemed to have taken some more of Athena's power then normal, and ended up with both her and Hermione's ability. This why Annabeth was able to find and face Arachne- because she had not only the powers Athena passed to her, but the powers Athen was supposed to pass to Hermione.

But Hermione had a different kind of power... Since before she could remember, she had showed signs of being a witch. This, is exactly why she didn't get powers from her mother, because she already had powers -witch powers.

Now, it is thought that maybe Hermione only got a small amount of Athena's powers- if even that. Maybe, Hermione's need for knowledge was collected from Athena's habits.

As soon as it was found that Hermione was a Witch and Annabeth was a Demigod, there was a need to separate them. They didn't want Annabeth going to CHB and blabbing about her witchy twin, and it would be a disgrace if Hermione told her friends that Greek gods where real and her mother was one.

So, they gave Hermione to a muggle family -a family who knew nothing about magic or gods, but welcomed Hermione as a child of there own. And with a little bit of witchcraft, they believed she was a child of there own.

Annabeth never remembered Hermione as Hermione never remembers Annabeth. But when the twins find each other, it's a battle of knowledge. Literally, they have a war where they each just sit there and spew things they've read in books to see who know more.

AND THIS IS WHY I DON'T SHIP IT. IS THAT CLEAR ENOUGH? I HOPE THE WORLD MAKES SENSE NOW!
