Anna stood stock-still, about to yell for her parents, when the figure outside the window, spoke.

"Surprised much? It's Indigo, by the way, could you let me in?" he whispered

Anna stepped forward warily, feeling her blood pounding in her ears. Oddly, the only thought that ran through her mind was; Indigo is such a weird name, poor kid, he probably got teased for being named after a colour. She unlatched the window and pulled it open as wide as it would go. With catlike grace, Indigo climbed through carefully and straightened up. Anna stared at him, almost unable to look away. Indigo's lightly tanned skin stood in sharp contrast to his carelessly tousled brown hair. Loose strands perfectly framed his face and fell lazily into eyes that were hidden in shadow. Then, he stepped into the light, and all Anna could think was; Holy hell; I take back what I said about his name, it suits him perfectly. He had the bluest eyes she had ever seen, such a deep colour that they were almost purple. Indigo eyes.

"Hey," he said nonchalantly, "You must be Anna, the future-telling telekinesis girl? Cool powers by the way."

She fidgeted uncomfortably, suddenly hyperaware of her messy hair and untidy room.

He went on, " I was watching you from my room, I saw you making everything fly around the room, that was pretty awesome!"

Seeing that she still didn't answer him, Indigo grinned and stepped closer to her.

"What's wrong Anna, speechless?"

Anna did the only thing she could think of. She slapped him.

"Ow! What was that for?"

"You were watching me through my window? That's just incredibly rude and creepy! Why in the hell were you spying on me?" she hissed as Indigo stepped back, rubbing his cheek indignantly.

"No, I swear, it wasn't like that! My room is a floor above yours and I can see straight into your window. I just caught a glimpse of you and got curious! Don't be so weird!"

"I'm being weird? You're the one who was creeping outside my window!"

"I wasn't creeping, I just wanted to meet you!"

"What's wrong with not being a creep and waiting 'till tomorrow to ring my doorbell like a NORMAL PERSON?"

Anna was furious and was about to keep yelling at him, completely forgetting about everything else, when he suddenly grabbed her arms. She stiffened.

"Anna," he said, with a strange, nervous look in his eyes "Calm down, I'm sorry for creeping you out, okay?"

She glared at him suspiciously as his warm hands rubbed her arms soothingly.

"Relax Annie, I didn't mean to annoy you, just chill."

Anna was baffled, but she felt her anger dissipate and she stood there, relishing in the feel of his hands on her arms, letting them support her. She heard a few quiet thumps and realized that it was objects falling to the floor. Without realizing it, she must have been raising them up into the air, as though she was going to fling them at Indigo. Damnit! I didn't even realize I was doing that! Why was I even so angry?

"Oh god, I'm really sorry Indigo," she said, staring at the floor, " I didn't mean to do that, really, I'm so, so sorry!"

"It's cool, don't worry, are you okay though?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." Anna said, feeling her cheeks heat up

"Do you want me to leave?" Indigo asked

"What? Oh no you can stay, I mean if you want to, or not whatever, whatever you want is cool." She rambled, and all of a sudden, Anna realized she had no idea what Indigo's power was.
