I woke up the next morning to Grace knocking on our door. After a minute Jeremy came making a loud noise. When I sat up, I found him outside the window banging a metal pot with a metal spoon.

"Wake up kiddos," he yelled. I sighed, stretching.

"Can he please STOP IT!" Kay yelled, sitting up. She was definitely not a morning person.

"At least you are up," Grace said. "Breakfast is at eight. I will see you all then." She closed the door as she walked out. I stood up. Avery got down from the top bunk. I looked above me to see Poppy was still hard and fast asleep. Rosie came over to me.

"How is she still asleep?" I asked.

"She's a very deep sleeper," Roise said.

"So how do you wake her up?"

"Simple. Shake her." Roise climbed up the ladder a little. She started shaking Poppy. Poppy groaned, rolling over.

"So she will sleep through Jeremy banging a pot and a spoon together but not you shaking her?"

"She's one of those people that will sleep through just about any noise but movement wakes her."

"Yeah, the slightest little movement wakes me up."

"Oh."

"Yeah. So can you please not move around so much?"

"Oh, I'm sorry," I said. She shook her head.

"It's fine. I'm just messing with you." She yawned, stretching. Rosie got down just as Avery and Grace walked by heading to the bathroom. I guess they were getting dressed together. I glanced over at Kendrick to see she was going back to sleep. Rosie was sitting on her bed, staring at the ground. Poppy climbed down off her bed, walking over to her suitcase. She opened it, looking for an outfit to wear. I decided to do the same. I opened mine and looked through it. I grabbed a pair of nike shorts and a yellow t-shirt from a place I've been before. I waited for Grace and Avery to get out of the bathroom. It surprised me that it didn't take them too long. They both wore blue jean shorts and crop tops. Avery wore a green one while Grace wore a pink one.

"Hey, Amelia. Do you want to get dressed together?" Poppy asked. I gave her a look.

"What?" I asked.

"Do you want to get dressed together? So we take up less time. I won't watch you change or anything." She smirked. "Unless you want me to." I shook my head.

"No, I'm good."

"To me watching or getting dressed together."

"To watching. I don't mind getting dressed with you." We both walked into the bathroom. I'm glad I wore my sports bra to bed last night. That's one less thing I had to put on in front of Poppy. I quickly changed. After a minute both Poppy and I brushed our teeth before we walked out. Rosie went in after us. Avery and Grace were both sitting at the desk that was shoved in the corner. They had a mirror with a light set up and were doing their makeup and hair. I didn't really wear makeup. Especially since it was hot out and we were going to be exploring. I grabbed my brush and ran it through my hair. I pulled back my hair into a ponytail and pulled a few of my shorter hairs to let them hang.

"Hey, Kendrick. Get up. It's seven thirty," Avery said. Kendrick groaned, sitting up. She rubbed her eyes, looking around drowsily.

"Do I have too?"

"Yes, you do."

"Ugh, kill me."

I walked into the dining hall. A few people were already in here. Roland, Bryce, Leo, Jeremy and Grace. I walked over to the breakfast they were serving.
