Jeremy left, leaving in a car that came from nowhere. Grace was in charge now. She led us to the place on the campus, beyond the dining hall. It had a completely different view of the lake with two bigger cabins, volleyball, and basketball courts.

"Alright, welcome to our first group activity. Well, you'll still be in your groups, but we'll be doing this all together. Today we are going to be having a basketball tournament. So, Jeremy's group, come over here." The members of his group walked over to the side. "Alright, since this is a competition, you can pick what you want your team's name to be. Choose something wisely because it will be the name of your group for the rest of the week. And yes, everyone will be playing. So, go ahead and come up with a team name and then I will explain the rules."

"I say we should be the Flaming Tornadoes," I heard Matthew say.

"Flaming Tornadoes?" Rosie questioned. "Nah, Slick Skaters." They both started arguing which was better.

"So, um, what do you guys want to be?" Noah asked.

"Oo, the Killer Queens," Poppy said. Noah gave her a look.

"Any other ideas?" Poppy rolled her eyes, moving closer to me.

"I don't like your boyfriend," she whispered. I blushed.

"He's not my boyfriend," I shot back. Poppy started giggling. Noah smirked when I turned back to look at him. Oh god. Had he heard that? I prayed he hadn't.

"Oh, how about the Lightning Strikes?" Avery suggested. Noah thought about it for a second.

"That's fine with me. Any objections?" he asked. Poppy raised her hand. She then turned to me.

"Raise your hand," she said, lifting my arm up. Noah looked over at me, a slight smile on his face.

"Um, Amelia, do you really object?" he asked.

"Um, I uh, they're both good names," I stuttered. Noah sighed. I glanced around the circle, seeing what people thought of me. I noticed Leo was giving Poppy a death glare. He then glanced over at me, quickly erasing the look he had and looking at Noah as he spoke.

"Well, it looks like you are both outnumbered so, I guess we're the Lightning Strikes."

"Fine. Raise your hand if you want to be the Slick Skaters," Matthew said. Everyone raised their hands. Matthew rolled his eyes.

"Whatever."

"Alright. Have we figured out our names?" Grace asked. "From what I've heard, it sounds like we have."

"Ptff," Matthew retorted.

"We're the Slick Skaters," Rosie said.

"Slick Skaters. Interesting name," Grace commented, writing that down on her paper. She then looked over at our group.

"Lightning Strikes," Noah said. Grace nodded, also writing that down.

"Alright then. So, how many of you have played basketball before?" Most of the boys except Leo raised their hands and some of the girls did too. Rosie being one of them. "Okay good. So most of you know the rules of the game. Is there anyone who needs me to explain it?" No one raised their hand. "Okay, well. I guess we can begin the game. And sorry group A. Since Jeremy is gone, you won't have anyone to cheer you on." Matthew shrugged.

"We don't need support. I've never had support from my parents a day in my life so it won't bother me." He smiled. Everyone gave him a concerned look as he walked onto the court. He turned and looked back at us. "What?" he asked.

"Alright, well. Here's the basketball," Grace said, bouncing it over to Matthew. "I guess since he was the first on the court, his team gets the ball first."
