Jethro was startled when his phone buzzed. He took a glance and then ignored it, his eyes fixing back on what he was watching. He studied as the second man also removed his mask. The hulking stature had given an initial hint of him and then when the mask was finally off, Jethro shrank in a repeated horror.

The second man was Lucas!

His phone buzzed again and he groped for it with a heavy breath. It was Finn calling. The boy had called him earlier in the evening and he had told him the plan. Finn was to find a way to drive Katie to the ever-silent Batumi. There, they would be able to demand she reveals all she did that fateful night without interruption.

Jethro accepted the call and before Finn could speak, he asked, "There?"

"Yeah, there," Finn answered mysteriously and Jethro could hear a voice echoing beneath. It was Katie asking Finn some questions.

"Alright, I'll meet you soon," Jethro said and when Katie's agitated voice would not allow Finn's words to be heard, he hung up. He shook his head off the shock of what he had just watched. He picked up the camcorder and dropped it into his desk. He slid on his casual footwear and jerked to the door before stopping abruptly. He glanced back to the desk and something told him to take the camcorder along. He bit his lip in indecision and then scurried back to the desk. He brought out the camcorder and stowed it into a bag which he carried along as he rushed out of the room.

Rose's gaze followed him as he scuttled through the living room. The look on her showed she wanted to say something but her hasty brother was certainly not ready to wait and listen.

Jethro strode out to the fence and was about to dial Gavin's number when the familiar bicycle screeched in front of him.

"Perfect timing." Gavin winked at him and without a word, he mounted the bicycle, "Batumi right?" Gavin asked as he cycled past the dark stalls.

"Yeah, Finn's there waiting," Jethro said anxiously, adjusting the bag on his back.

"Why that?" Gavin asked vaguely when he noticed his friend's nervousness.

"What?" Jethro asked back stiffly.

"You're sounding tense, dude." Gavin pointed out with a chuckle that soon faded, "Is anything up?" Curiosity pitched in his voice.

Jethro did not answer him. His mind was far off, thinking of something else.

"Anything dude? You wouldn't tell your buddy." Gavin clucked when Jethro would not make a sound.

"Later. We have to get to Finn quickly." Jethro only said after much hesitation.

"Well, just history repeating itself." Gavin shrugged and swerved into a corner that led to a long, empty road.

The ride from there was smooth and wild. The breeze blew hard and no one said a word until the red BMW could be seen. Gavin gave a sound of finally and then spun in front of the car.

The headlight of the car blinked twice, indicating a sign that the two boys grasped. They nodded in return and then slid into the car.

Katie gasped on seeing them and Gavin smirked while Jethro and Finn exchanged a handshake.

"What's happening here?" The girl asked fearfully, feeling lost between the three boys, "Finn, what..."

"You hush!" Her brother cut her off harshly and she was taken aback.

"What has gone into your head, Finn? What are you guys doing?" Katie defied his order and yelled, her eyes dilating.

"The same thing you did to Ava." It was Jethro who spoke now and the girl flinched on hearing that.
