Cuppy had just finished shouting at her team (end of ep 6 or 7 I think?)
She felt terrible, but she needed to get that out of her system. It was annoying, after all. Being ignored like this. Especially since this was her own team ignoring her and treating her like she didn't exist.
Y/N was on the opposite team, Blooming May, but that didn't stop them from being friends with the cup. (Even developing a small crush on her as well.) They saw her sitting at a bush, looking rather tense. They could tell that something was up.
Y/N walked over to Cuppy, sitting next to her. "Hey Cuppy, something up?"
"Hm? Oh. It's nothing." Cuppy muttered.
The two of them were just silent for a while.
It remained silent as Cuppy moved a little bit closer to Y/N, pressing against their side. "I think I messed up."
Y/N looked at her and raised an eyebrow.
"I snapped at my team because I felt like they were all acting as if I didn't exist after Sprayish's arrival."
"Ah-" Y/N mumbled.
Some time had passed now. Cuppy was still where she was, and so was Y/N.
"At least I have you, Y/N. You actually care about me."
Y/N smiled a small bit, "I'm sure that your team also cares about you. Sometimes when there's someone new around, everyone wants to make a good first impression, so they all forget about everything else. I could be wrong though."
Cuppy nodded, thinking about it. "Yeah. I still feel hurt though."
Y/N put an arm around Cuppy, nodding. "That's alright. Things will get better though."
Cuppy nuzzled into their side, "Yeah."
"Y'know, Cuppy, I really care for you." Y/N mumbled, glancing away as their face heated up a slight bit.
"Same!"
"No I mean like- I love you."
Silence again.
Y/N was starting to question if they should have said that, but their thoughts were interrupted by a small peck on the cheek from the cup.
"I love you too."
