Dark storm clouds rolled over the usual grounds where the show was held. (And where the current contest was taking place)
Y/N was feeling rather nervous. They had never really liked storms. Ever since they were young, storms had terrified them.
And it didn't help that everyone was currently in the middle of a challenge.
They were thinking about whether or not it would be a thunder storm or not when small drop of water hit Y/N on the head.
They must've made somewhat of a face because Spraysh, the object closest to them, asked, "Heh, You alright?"
"Yeah of course I am- It's water-" Y/N retorted, crossing their arms.
"Pshh, just messing with ya." Spraysh chuckled a little bit, elbowing Y/N.
Maybe this wouldn't be too bad?
It was now pouring. The teams had decided to take a break from the challenge and try to find cover. But, to everyone's dismay, there wasn't anything that could even be used for shelter out here.
Y/N didn't really mind it, it was just rain, after all. Though, not all objects, like Kurasan, could say the same. (haha soggy croissant.)
That was until they saw something flash in the sky.
Lightning.
They whimpered softly to themself as they knew that it would probably start thunder storming.
"Well, let's just continue the contest. It's not like there's any shelter anyways." Rubbery suggested, and everyone agreed.
The team had been walking for a while now.
The rain definitely hadn't stopped, it was still pouring outside.
And then, out of almost nowhere, BOOM.
Y/N shrieked and jumped, shaking.
Spraysh looked over to them, "Heh, did that scare ya?"
They froze up before quietly muttering a small "yeah-"
Another loud boom came from the clouds, and this time with a flash of lightning. Y/N jumped and hugged onto Spraysh's arm.
"Heh- You really are scared of storms, huh?
Y/N huffed a little bit, but before they could answer, she started to talk again.
"Don't worry. I'll protect ya."
Their face went red after she said that, and Spraysh must've noticed because she started laughing a little bit.
"Heheh, I'm just joking around."
There was a small pause before Spraysh spoke up again,
"Unless..?"
