"You wish to speak to me" I slightly raised my eyes to his chiselled chin, in a way it was almost as if I was terrified of gazing into Azure colored eyes.
"Yes, no one knows my betrothed better than you." Oh, I should have know that was all he needed, i was foolish to think someone as majestic as the king of liariah would take an interest in some like me.
"Have I made you uncomfortable my lady." My eyes went higher from his chiselled chin to his cupid bow like lips which looked like the faded colour of wine.
"She is not of noble standing for you king zenon to call her my lady." I stood up immediately when I heard the Queen's voice behind me. I bowed as I pulled out a chair for the Queen.
"Where is Diana."
"Mother, here I am" I looked up and saw Diana and Devi walking together with a small basket in her grasp. The queen put down her tea cup
"Who is injured, is it you zenon" she turned to me "bring me the court physicians."
"I am not in any pain Queen mother, Diana's handmaid spilled hot tea on herself." I cast my eyes down in Shame and to avoid the Queen's wistful eyes on me.
"You have embarrassed the kingdom Farah once again Aviva."
"Mother, it was a simple mistake."
"How many more would she make." It was no secret that I was bad at accepting compliment from people, It had started with a merchant who came to ask the princess for her hand in marriage, he had said I was beautiful to be a mistress in his home country, I had frozen and lost control of my limbs which made me Spill the finest aged wine we had in the Royal stores on his fine robes. The queen had punished me so hard that day, I could still feel the crackling whips on my back.
I fell to my knees once again "i apologise once again."
It was silent for a while "leave now, for if i continue to look at you, I might do something you'll regret."
I needed not another warning before I scurried out of the Royal gardens.

"Calm down Aviva" I looked at the Hazel eyed man who steadied me before I could crash into him
"Your highness"
"You can always look at me Avi" I raised my marshy green eyes to look at the god like creature in front of me. The crown prince himself TYR, his face was covered in a hood but it never did stop him from being devilishly handsome
"I take it you are sneaking out of the castle again,Your highness " he gave me a small smile before nodding
"I would love if you join me." I looked at the evening sky, it would take about three more hours for dinner.
"I would love to" we walked slowly and stealthily, trying to avoid the ever busy like bees called the maids from spotting us, no matter how hard they worked they always had time for gossip. The stable doors creaked open and we walked directly to Tyr's black stallion Ivy. He stroked her white spotted nose before he helped me mount.
We rode for atleast many leeks before getting to the waterfall both of had found peace in going to over the years we have known each other.
I fed the ducks floating on the surface bread while Tyr ate from the wild Berry tree.
"This would be the last time I come here Aviva." I turned to Tyr alarmed
"Why" I questioned, his eyes roamed the beauty of the waterfall
"Because, you leave in four nights to the kingdom of liariah with your mistress. I do not wish to torture myself more with fond memories of you, your absence would speak its volumes"
I looked at the man who I had loved years ago in the eyes, Tyr and I courted many years ago but we knew that nothing was going to become of our affections for one another, I was not of noble standing and he could only marry out of nobility. I was still in Tyr's heart even after we ended things, he still had a place in my heart even if it belonged to Zenon
"I fear for you Aviva."
"How so"
He collected the bread from me and began ripping it piece by piece feeding it to the ducks "You love Zenon too much Avi, I know it kills you to see my sister with him"
"Shouldn't you fear for your sister, who knows I might poison her"
He chuckled at the end of my statement "if you truly wanted to kill her, you would have done it already Avi" I have been tempted many times to do the atrocious to Diana but I remember how kind she is and how she saved me from life on the streets and I would forever thank her.
"I wonder why my hearts keeps beating for the ones who are not in my class, Shouldn't I have learned while I was with you." I was letting the tears I had held in out, I wanted to let my frustrations.
"You know the matters of the heart are beyond us." I balled my fists and hit it across my chest
"Stop it Avi" I cried into his chest as he rubbed my back
"It hurts Tyr, I don't want to feel like this anymore."
"I know" he hugged me until I calmed, he brought his handkerchief and cleaned my face of the dry tear streaks.
"We should go now" he helped me up but my dress got stuck in a rather persisted branch.
"It seems this place would miss you as much as I would." I smiled, looking at the beautiful waterfall once again
"I will surely miss this place as well." We rode to the castle in haste, he and I ran down the court halls to our Chambers in a hurry, we couldn't be caught late for dinner.
