Aviva's pov 🤍🎀
I didn't care about the clanging metal on the floor all I was focused on was the duchess infront of me who had my exact same face. It was as If I was indeed staring at a mirror, a spitting image of me. Nonetheless I was shocked and so was everyone seated in the dinning Hall.
"Avi" She whispered coming close and I took a hasty step back wondering how she knew my name, she not only had my face but knew my name what kind of sorcery was this.
"Who are you" I croaked out as I begun hearing many voices and my vision blurry what was going on.
"Avi, do you not remember " I fell to my knees covering my ears the ringing increased with her voice
"It's me Noel" my eyes snapped to her as voices flooded my head. They were all children screams of glee. I shook my head trying to rid my selves all the voices , I started screaming when she touched me and all i saw was her dark grey eyes filled with worry staring at me till I fainted.....

"Mother, noel doesn't want to play with me"
"Noel, come back"
"Promise me noel"

"Noel"

I shot out of the bed in an instant taking in harsh breaths.
Those were my memories of Noel, they weren't complete but those memories gave me an inkling as to who Noel was.
I sat up right seeing the moon from the window, the light illuminating the dark room as all the candles had burnt out. I brought my knees to my body crying softly, so i had family, I had roots, I had once been happy  and I was the lost duchess of the Dukedom azrak. A tear slid down my eyes making it the first of many that I shed that night...

"Avi" I opened my eye softly staring into dark grey eyes, I blinked softly staring at her unabashedly, I was amazing how much we look alike, the difference was my hair was a deep shade of red, red like roses in bloom as people said while hers was was brown like dried leaves but It made her looks bolder.
She stroked my cheeks , looking at the dried  streaks of tears that stained my face.
"Good morning " she smiled softly taking a seat close to me.
"Good morning my lady " she frowned staring  at me. I was still a maid, I think.
"It's Noel to you sister" she held my hand stroking it softly,
"It feels surreal seeing you again. It has been two decades since.." Her voice broke at the end, and it pained me seeing her cry
"My lad..." I stopped remembering her previous words "Noel" she smiled painfully and I opened my arms making her come closer into giving me a hug. Though I remembered only little of my childhood, I knew without a doubt who she was.. I felt her tears on my shirt, she was crying but I didn't know why
"I am happy to see you sister, I thank the heavens for reuniting us again" I stroked her back softly as she cried out of happiness and glee
She raised her head and smiled at me "I have sent word to mother and father, they would be here by sundown" I balled my fists, I was scared and delighted at the same time, delighted that I had parents now, I had roots and not only did I have a mother and a father , I had a sister too. I had a family and I had roots but I was scared because what if they didn't want me anymore..
" when we go back to Azrak, you'll meet out brother Adriel" I raised my head meeting her eyes, not only did I have parents, I also had a sister and a brother.
My eyes clouded with tears, I was happy, I felt I could burst of pure joy, my whole life I had been deprived of family and now I had one.
"Let's prepare for today"  I smiled as she pulled me to the bathing chamber, I realised that I was in the royal Chambers, in her room. It felt weird seeing the maids attend to Me, when only just yesterday I was serving as they were.

"You look beautiful Aviva" I turned to my sister staring at me with glee and happiness. I wondered when the initial happiness that she found me would fade to nothingness
She seemed to have sensed my emotions
"The Dukedom missed you" I looked at her, wishing i remembered everything
"I missed you, when you were taken Avi, I lost my self " she chuckled painful "despite being the older one, I was attached to you Avi" I rolled my eyes, older with just few seconds but what she said touched my heart so someone could long and miss my presence so much so.
"Whenever I told Adriel about you he swore that he'd find you " I walked close to her, engulfing her in a tight hug. It was a thank you that she allowed me live in her memories, and even passed the memories to my brother, eventhough i want there for his birth.

I sat in the Palace gardens, a shawl around my neck, it was strange seeing the maids walk by me with their head bowed low, I don't think I would get used to being a noble.
"Duchess" my eyes snapped to the queen Diana
And I curtsied as a greeting, we haven't spoken since when I asked to be a kitchen maid.
"You look beautiful" she said and I bowed my head as a thank you
"I ask you to forgive me Aviva,, I thought you a thief " it was as If I saw through Diana, she wasn't apologetic for what she did she only wanted to maintain peace now that I was a woman of Noble standing.
"I hold no grudges your majesty " I said firmly and she laughed "all my life I had wondered why you exuded such perfect mannerisms and now i know " I gave a small smile, staring at the flowers with her beside me

"Avi" Noel interrupted the perfect silence between me, nature, and the queen.
"Our parents are here" she said pulling me away with out even acknowledging Diana
"You didn't acknowledge the queen " she scoffed as she pulled me to the maid courtyard
" I heard what she did to you sister, she's inhumane" I nodded sorrowfully
I was scared meeting my parents for the first time after two decades, I was a bumbling mess of nerves....
