Author note

*Okay, in this fanfic, we're going to pretend that the golden trio, returned to Hogwarts for their last year, so ofc Harry and Ginny, and Ron and Hermione are dating and maybe I'll make some other changes too, along the way.*

Hermione

"You're Harry Potter!", yelled the pretty blonde girl pointing at Harry, and then turned her gaze to her and Ron. "So you are Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley!"

"Wait like The, Harry Potter?", the guy who looked like Harry asked, now looking a bit interested too.

Here we go again, thought Hermoine.

While Harry and Hermione stood there smiling shyly, Ron came forward and shook their hands.

"Ron Weasley, nice to meet you", he said grinning, obviously loving all the attention. He shook the girl's hand, for a moment gazing her up and down, but was stopped when the guy took his hand and shook it quite harshly, saying, "Hi, Percy Jackson, her boyfriend. Nice to meet you".

Hermione thanked the the guy, Percy, mentally and also noted to have a word with her boyfriend later.

For his sake, Ron blushed heavily recognising his mistake and pulled away.

Meanwhile the girl's attention was on one person only, but not the famous Harry Potter, like all the other fans. She was staring right at Hermione, her mouth half open.

"I cannot believe i just embarrassed myself infront of The Hermione Granger!"

With that all three of the trio's eyes wide open, Hermione looked at the girl astonished having forgotten their meeting conditions. She never got all the popularity herself, they were always looking at Harry, and it didn't really bug her like Ron, though she had to admit it was a nice change for once.

"H-hi, I'm Annabeth. Annabeth Chase. It's a great pleasure to meet you", said the girl offering Hermione her hand.

Hermione shook Annabeth's hand and responded feeling a bit dazed, "Uh, yeah, you too."

"I have read so much about you and what you did, i just I can't believe you're actually here", Annabeth blurted out.

Hermione frowned, "Where have you read about us?"

"Are you kidding? You guys are pretty damn famous from what i hear", Percy reasoned.

"Yeah, I'm aware of that, but i also know there aren't any books yet about me or Ron, at least".

Percy suddenly looked tightened up, his hand went through his black hair nervously.

"Uh..., Er, well you see, um, there was this... Uh-"

"A friend of mine did a paper on you three for a class and she thought i would find it interesting", said Annabeth sounding pretty convincing.

Harry and Ron nodded, but Hermione still wasn't fully convinced though she let the matter go.

"You guys look pretty old thought we've never seen you at Hogwarts", Harry noticed.

"Um, yeah we and some other kids are transferred from America, they said that it would be a great experience to broaden our horizons and all that stuff". That expalined the accents. "But personally i can't wait to see Hogwarts", said the girl her grey stormy eyes filling once again with excitement.

"So in which year are you going to?", Ron asked.

"The seventh".

"Really? Us too!"

"Oh, perfect because we're having trouble finding this last one book", Percy said pointing at their list.

Hermione looked at the list and took aback when she saw it was in black paper with white letters. Why would anyone do that?, she thought but she looked at the title anyway and said, "Hey, i know were you can find that".

"Awesome, would you mind showing us?"

"Sure, no problem".

So with that they all continued walking across the corridor.

While the boys were having a classic akward first-meet chitchat, Hermoine walked along with Annabeth. She was starting to really like the girl, and they learned they had lots of stuff in common. Annabeth really liked reading and was fascinated by history and especially greek mythology. Hermione found it a bit odd how often she mentioned something related to the matter: "When i say i want to be an architect i don't mean crappy modern-like stuff, i mean like Parthenon or Acropolis stuff you know?", "You know, i just love your name, it's so beautiful and unique, one hundred percent Greek!"

But when Hermione asked her if she were from Greece, Annabeth said "Um, yeah, you could say that".

"Have you ever been in Greece?"

Suddenly Annabeth's eyes darkened as if she had triggered some real bad memories. She swallowed and just said, "Only once", then shrugged the matter off. Hermione got confused. The girl seemed so found of that country and its history. Then why when she remembered of it she didn't look happy at all?

They were almost there, when suddenly she saw Ron bump into someone, and heard a young but oddly dark and harsh voice,

"Watch it!"

Hermione saw the owner of that voice, and a girl standing next to him.

The boy had black messed up hair like Harry's always were, he was wearing black pants and a t-shirt with a skeleton drawing on it. He looked young, but worriedly mature, his eyes intense and scary, a look of annoyance in them that you could easily cut you in half.

"Nico, don't be rude, he didn't see you it's not his fault", a sweet voice came from the girl.

She had soft brown skin, curly hair like Hermione's but darker, and sparkling hazel eyes. She looked even younger than the boy but they both had an aura of importance around them.

"Hey kiddo, where're your parents?", asked Harry.

Nico, the boy, turned his sharp eyes at him ready to attack, but the girl heald him back. Clearly he didn't love being called that.

"His parents, uhm, they are back in America", said Annabeth but she, Percy and the kids shared a complicated look. It wasn't the look Harry had when he talked about his parents, it wasn't sad, it was a mix of sad and angry so Hermione didn't know what to take out of that.

"This is Nico and Hazel, some other transfer students, they came here with us", Annabeth explained.

"We took everything we needed and i think Piper and Leo are done too", Hazel said to Annabeth a bit like filling in a report. It was clear she saw her as some kind of leader.

"Great! So now we can go buy our wands!", Percy said excitedly.

"What do you mean buy your wands, you don't have wands in America?", Ron joked.

"No, um well, we-uh, we actually ....lost them", Percy said but it was more than clear that he was hiding something.

"What do you mean you lost them, you lost four wands, all together?", Hermione asked.

"No", Annabeth answered calmly. "We lost one wand, Percy's, and Hazel here is too young to have her own so we decided to pay Olivander a visit", she shrugged like it was no big deal.

Maybe Hermoine was being paranoid, but her instinct was telling her something was wrong about those new kids.
