(I think this might be the last chapter that shall be following the light novel, but I am unsure. So this chapter shall he following along the lines of chapter 12 of volume 3)

Y/N's pov

"I know I agreed to help out Rudues with his jobs. Which I did now and again for the past three weeks. However, unlike him and his ideas to work with another party, me and Amber were able to make to C rank almost easily, great way to train and earn good money. Speaking of which" I look at the money me and Amber currently have at the moment "3 green ore coins, 12 iron coins, 21 scrap iron coins and 40 stone coins. All this from going on jobs and using our skills for profit. Heck, I only found out recently that amber knows how to make clothes from the wolf pelts we collect. She amuses me sometime if I do say so myself"

I was to busy in my own thoughts that Amber had to hit me upside the head to get my attention

Y/N: "Ow" Rubs his head

Amber: "I was trying to get your attention for a minute N/N."

Y/N: "N/N?"

Amber: "It was either that or blood hound. Since well, you use blood magic and we are the element hounds"

Y/N: "Oh so we are going with Nicknames now are we Element witch?"

Amber backhands me hard into a wall of the inn we were in

Amber: "I ain't a witch! I'd rather go for element mistress"

Y/N: "Element mistress?"

Amber: "Well, I think it sounds better then calling me a witch"

Y/N: "Mistress makes it sound like you are into making men bow at your feet"

Amber: "Like you have any better names!"

Y/N: "I still think fire cracker works better"

Amber got ready to punch me and I raised my hands

Y/N: "Okay, okay. Gaia Elementa!?" closed his eyes

Amber: "Mmm. Gaia Elementa. I think Gaia shall do for now until we find a better Nickname for myself"

Y/N: "Yea, for others to call ya. Fire cracker is still my Nickname for ya"

Amber: "You're lucky I am in a good mood"

Y/N: "Aside from that. What do you need that you had to hit me?"

Amber: "Well, I overheard Rudues and his group are gonna take a quest to find and kill a mysterious monster in the forest of petrification."

Y/N: "What does that have to do with us?"

3rd pov

Amber held up a job request

Amber: "Oddly enough, I found one that has to do with killing the white fang snake and collecting their scales"

Y/N: "But if we take that job, we might run into Rudues and his group"

Amber: "So? What's the worse that can happen?"

Y/N: "We still don't know how many monsters are within that forest"

Amber: "Fair enough, but come on. We battled snakes before!"

Y/N: "And you almost died because of them!"

Amber: "And you died yet came back to life!"

Y/N: "I wasn't in control during that last fight!"

Amber: "Y/N, calm down. Besides, we both grew stronger over the weeks of training didn't we?"

Y/N: looks away "Yes, we did..."

Amber walked over and grabs Y/N by the collar. Smiling with a grin

Amber: "Also n/n" Pins him against the wall "Those past three weeks weren't just for training your magic. I might have also toyed with your clothes and increased their weight by a small amount everyday"

Y/N: "You did what to my weighted clothes?"

Amber: "increases their weight without you noticing. But then again metal is pretty even when there is quite the amount when you know where to look"

Y/N: in mind "Would explain why I almost dropped down to the bottom of the river last week."

Y/N: "I see, I thought I would notice something off whenever I wore the clothes"

Amber pats his cheek softly and smiled sweetly before letting go of him, walking over to the bed and grabs her scythe.

Amber: "I don't think you'll be needing the weighted clothes this time. You're mana for blood magic has grown to intermediate now. So that sound boost your current capabilities no?"

Y/N he rolls his eyes as he looked at the weighted clothes hanging on the chair. Chuckling softly while rubbing his shoulders lightly

Y/N: "Very well then, let's see how much of a challenge this white Fang snake is gonna be"

Amber nods as they would leave the inn and make their way to the forest.
