AIM's new base was located on the outskirts of New York. Tony and the Captain landed near the forest that covered the base, the plan was to infiltrate without being noticed.

At the entrance, several soldiers from the yellow criminal organization patrolled the immediate surroundings.

"I count seven armed men."

"Jarvis says there are eight, there is one out of our field of vision. You on the right and me on the left?"

Tony and Steve managed to take them all down without too much trouble before they managed to raise the alarm.

The going gets tough when they entered. They had been able to hide in the warehouse, but the engineer stepped on a tile that shone under his feet.

"Tony, watch out!" Steve lunged at him to protect him and a lot of darts began to be spit out of the walls, but as he dodged them the floor sank under his feet and they both fell to the lower floor being locked by a cage with a futuristic design.

Steve was the first to put his hand on the bars receiving a strong shock that made him fall to the ground.

Iron Man tried to melt the bars with his laser afterwards, but they seemed to absorb the heat quite well and the metal remained intact.

"Just as I predicted."

A green man with an abnormally elongated skull greeted them. They had already faced him on occasion, he called himself The Leader.

"The bastard of Captain America and Iron Man, what a surprise."

From behind, a gigantic head on an abnormally small body floated on a robotic chair, M.O.D.O.K.

"Bastards! What do you want from Loki?!"

"AIM technology is bound to be the most advanced on earth." Tony rolled his eyes inside his armor and Steve scolded him for holding his tongue. "However, it could be more complete with magic!"

M.O.D.O.K started laughing frantically.

"Imagine our surprise when Avengers Tower began to show signs of ancient magic at night. And that magic belonged to the old Norse god, Loki, now a vulnerable brat!"

"Loki can't control his powers! You won't be able to take the magic from him!"

"Is that what he told you? Lovely. But it turns out that we do know how to unleash the magic from him." AIM soldiers began to appear carrying strange guns that emitted pulses of green energy.

Steve covered both of them with his shield, but before they could fire the wall shattered and a roar rang through the room.

"It's about time, I thought you had taken a vacation, big guy" Despite his sarcasm, Tony's smile crossed his entire face.

The green beast took hold of the bars of the cage. His hands were instantly electrocuted, but that only infuriated him more, and the cage shattered into as many pieces as the wall.

"Tony, track down and find Loki. Hulk and I will take care of MODOK and the Leader."

Tony didn't need a new order, he activated the thrusters and flew out of the room chasing the signal that his AI was marking it.

Loki was in the last basement and to get there, Tony shot every AIM soldier in his way. Nausea swirled in the pit of his stomach when he was able to locate it, but it was quickly replaced with anger.

The boy was chained and had needles attached to his legs, arms and neck, powering AIM's weaponry. A soldier was with him, holding a black metallic whip that he brandished on the minor's back. With each lash, a surge of magic ripped from Loki's body and traveled through the wires attached to his body to the charging devices.
