The rest of the avengers were already having breakfast in the common room when they heard Tony's footsteps entering.

"Loki feeling better?"

Bruce looked worried, just like the others who had been eager to ask about the child's fever.

"Good morning to you too, and check it out for yourselves."

Steve spit out the coffee as he saw Loki's female form appear in an outfit he'd seen her wear many times, only noticeably smaller.

The Captain America shirt only covered his chest exposing his navel, and the stretchy white pants that had almost reached his knees as a child now came up to mid-thigh.

"Now Loki is sixteen because apparently gods can't develop normally." Tony felt as if years of Loki's childhood had been stolen from him. "Calm down, Captain. I've already ordered new clothes for her."

"But those boobs can't be sixteen!"

Natasha swung at Clint, causing his head to crash on the table.

"Ignore the orangutans and sit down to breakfast" Nat seemed the only one able to keep calm with the situation, putting a new plate of food for Loki.

That night, the teenager found Tony's floor closed.

"Jarvis, why don't I have access?"

"Mr. Stark thinks you're old enough to sleep in your own bed."

"But I want to sleep here," Loki made one of her infallible pouts, but she received no response. "What if I change to my male form? Would there be a problem with my masculine form?"

"Of course there's a problem with your masculine form as well!!"

Tony's voice had come over the intercom instead of Jarvis's.

Loki turned around, angry, unable to do anything but lock herself in her old room.

"How are you, Jarv?"

Tony was pacing back and forth in his room with a cup of coffee. He had assumed that he wouldn't be able to sleep that night either.

During that time, he had gotten too used to having Loki in his arms to fall asleep, although the separation was obviously necessary it was no less painful for that.

"Loki shows signs of having a nightmare," the screen came on showing Loki's room, with her owner shaking and visibly tearful in a mess of sheets.

Tony raised an eyebrow, amused.

"And what do you think, Jarv?"
