"Tony! Tony!" Loki had begun to shake him without obtaining an answer while his tears fell on the reactor of his chest.

"Since when do you cry for someone other than yourself?" Amora spat out contemptuously. "Say goodbye to him, a mortal cannot fight that poison."

Loki turned his eyes towards her, he felt the rage bubbling in his veins, like he had never felt before, and it was transforming into magical energy.

Jarvis's voice rang through Iron Man's nearly broken armor.

"Loki's magic records are going up to ninety percent...ninety-five...one hundred and ten."

The god's body was surrounded by great green flames that turned his Midgardian clothing into leather and his face began to show more mature features. His hair was the last to change, slightly shorter and held up by a headband of tiny shimmering golden horns.

"Hulk! Skurge!" She yelled as she saw Loki rising towards her with obvious murderous rage.

The first to arrive was the green giant, but Loki waved his fingers in front of him easily undoing his spell. The Hulk's green eyes regained their usual gleam and he roared again as he understood the trick, this time lunging at Skurge to beat the shit out of him.

"Loki, honey, we're friends." Amora nervously walked backwards as she tried to open a portal to escape. Loki stopped her.

A bunch of magical chains rose from the ground immobilizing the enchantress.

"A spell you dared use against me before."

"What do you intend to do with me?!"

"An ancient punishment that you also know very well." Loki's eyes shone with cruelty and his smile turned into a maniacal expression. "You used Skade's snake against Tony and now his venom will drip on you for all eternity."

The poison had already gone too far into Tony's body, his skin had turned gray almost to his neck and he was still convulsing uncontrollably. Loki knelt before him, placing his hand against the sallow skin that slowly began to freeze.

"This will slow it down. I'm not going to let you die, Anthony Stark."

Loki's lips rested on his neck, where the mythological serpent had bitten him, and he began to suck the venom from him.

"Loki..." his love was torn between consciousness and unconsciousness. "Your lips... are turning purple... stop..."

And his eyes closed again.

Tony jumped up on the bed. Sweaty and covered in bandages.

Firm hands forced him to lie down again.

"Don't you dare move. I'm going to call Bruce."

Loki was sitting next to his bed and he was speechless, detailing all the little changes in his face. His features showed more maturity in general, even his voice had abandoned all childish notes sounding much deeper and sexier.

Loki left the room and Bruce entered shortly after.

"Oh my God, my head!"

"I'm sure of it, I'm going to give you more painkillers."

"Amora! What happened to the poison?" The beeping of the machine he was connected to began to warn that his pulse rate was shooting up rapidly.

"Calm down, Tony. Try not to go from zero to a hundred this time. Loki took care of most of it, defeating Amora and managing to stop your impending doom." Bruce administered a dose of painkiller into the drip that dripped into the IV on his arm. "Even so, you've been unconscious for three days, with a very high fever, luckily a little male nurse hasn't left your side. Although not so small now, I must say."
