Y/n POV

My hair blew in the breeze, I looked up to see the massive skyscrapers and vibrant lights emitting from many different parts of the city. Here I was, Las Nevadas. A newly built city. My heartbeat increased, having finally found a new beginning.

A new chance at life.
Adrenaline rushed through my veins and my head filled with thoughts of the future. I enter the gates to the large city, drinking in every detail, from the beautiful buildings to the bustling streets. This place was already packed with new citizens. I ran my fingers through my hair, looking around for the apartment I were to live in.

After about ten minutes of fumbling with my phone to check the maps, I finally found the apartment. It was a quite tall and dull building, guess not everything here is illuminated with hypnotic lights and signs. I stepped into the place, noticing a man walk up to me.

"Ello, you must be Y/n L/n, yeah?" The man spoke. "Hi, yes I am Y/n, I'm renting out a place on the 3rd floor?" I replied. "Oh yes, 3rd floor, number 24, here's the keys. Most of ye' stuff was brought in just yesterday, few more stuffs to come accordin' to the movers. Yer' in for a treat, Las Nevadas is like heaven on Earth!" He exclaimed, a broad smile along with his accent coming out more. "Thank you so much, have a good day!" I told him. He greeted me back and we parted ways.

I finally reached the third floor Apparently they didn't have the elevator installed yet so I had to go up the stairs. It was a pretty long way up considering I'm at the 3rd floor. I guess not everything was technology advanced in this place. Or maybe just my luck to be in the one building without an elevator. (Most likely the second option, but we'll just skip that.) I open my bag and reach for the keys I was given. I twist the key and upon hearing the 'click' sound, I step in. My eyes scan the place. Mostly boxes. The kitchen looked good, the lounge was spacious and the room appeared to be on the left. I stepped into the bedroom to see the bathroom nearby and a large balcony with a beautiful view. I wondered how this place would look at night. I admired the view for a few minutes, taking in every fresh breath of crisp air, my lungs rejuvenated.

Now the only thing I had to do was unbox everything and set this place up. I started opening each box, scanning over it and got started.

This would take a while...
