As the last speck of dust was rid of, I sighed. I was not designed to be alone, was I? The time was now 17:03. I decided I'd take a visit to the casino at maybe around half 8 which wasn't too far away but enough for me to relax and find a nice outfit. I remember getting a few simple evening gowns to wear so I didn't have to stress too much about that. Shoes were no problem since I'm not really affected by heels and I look good in them anyway. For now I wanted to eat something and relax a bit. Maybe even watch the sunset for a while on the balcony. I got some of my favorite food cooking and my favorite song playing. Tonight I was in no mood to stress.
My favorite movie playing while I slowly chew on the best food in the world is a feeling I would always cherish. The light breeze blew into my lounge from the open balcony doors, making me get goosebumps. The time now read as 18:32, plenty of time to relieve my stress. I scrolled through my phone for a bit, finding my old friends contacts. One caught my attention, the name read: "Hazel💝"
I haven't seen that girl in so long. Best friends up until 6th when she had to move. I figured I'd send a message in case she hadn't changed her number.

I turned off my phone, the time now read as 19:00. One more hour, I figured I might aswell get my makeup done and my outfit on. I pulled the drawer of my vanity, revealing a hell ton of makeup.

After slipping on the dress/suit and shoes, I added some foundation, countour, blush, and a few other basic makeup products. I spent two minutes adding eyeliner wings that looked flawless. I threw in a dark shade of lipstick and a bit of mascara. I straightened/curled my h/c hair, taking up just 20 minutes of my time.
I stared at the mirror, adding a few more light touches to my appearance before grabbing my bag with everything in it and heading out. 20:02, just about on time. I didn't feel like walking so I got an Uber instead.
"Helloo! How are you doing?" The driver spoke. "Hi, all well and you?" I politely replied. "Im doing alright, heading to the casino I see? You're too beautiful to be going to a casino though" He said. "Oh yes, just for a while." I answered, brushing off the comment and knowing damn well I'm gonna end up spending the whole night there. "Alright gorgeous, heres your stop." He spoke again, winking at me as I exited the car. "Uh, yes thank you." Almost gagging at his flirting skills.
I turned my back, now facing the lit up building. Las Nevadas' casino will never fail to impress me. I stepped in the line which was, shockingly, not too long. After maybe five other people, it was finally my turn to get in. I flashed my ID and the bouncer opened the door, seemingly recognizing me. Music filled the floor in a delighting way, the smell of alcohol loomed across the nearby bar and hundreds of people roamed the casino. Its good to be back.
