Y/N POV

I took one more look in the mirror, making sure I look right. I grabbed my bag, putting my phone into it. I walked down the stairs carefully, making sure not to trip over. After a few flights of stairs, I reached the door and opened it to see my Uber waiting outside. I recognized the plate number and jumped in. "Hi, To Tubburger, right?" The driver asked. "Hello, yes, thank you." I replied.

Soon the car stopped, I thanked the driver and got out to face a restaurant with the words "TUBBURGER" on a bright, vibrant sign. I stepped in, the aroma of food immediately filling my senses. I looked around before spotting the familiar Auburn hair, walking over to the small table she sat at. I recognized her hazel eyes, though now they were almost more greenish. "Hazel! I can't believe I'm seeing you again!" I spoke, joy laced my words. "Y/N! OH MY GOD! HI!" She yelled excitedly, her Spanish accent almost unnoticeable. I took a seat, talking with her. "It's been so so long Y/n! I'm so happy to meet you again." Hazel said. "I know, right? It feels like yesterday we were graduating!" I replied, returning the cheerful tone. We spoke about our time apart and what happened. I told her about why I moved to Las Nevadas, what was happening and she told me about her life here.

"You WHAT?!" She yelled, shocked. "How many times do I have to say it, I only found out about this place a few months back!" I laughed. "No way, you really did live under a rock huh?" She joked. She knew about how my mother would prohibit me from going out often while living under her roof, but we took it as a joke now. I wanted to ask her what 'hermosa' meant, but I didn't really know how to pronounce it (lol sorry Spanish speakers. You are now clueless) so I decided I'd just ask later when my memory jogs a bit more. We talked more and she told me of everything I missed, including her getting a new house, though her old car is still there. She got a girlfriend, I think her name was "Aria". She also told me stories of first moving to Las Nevadas and how she still has that bird she named "Olive" and if my memory serves me right, it was a darker green budgie. Eventually we wanted to order, a short brunette approached us to take our order. "Hi, welcome to Tubburger! Could I take your order?" The brunette spoke in a British accent. "Hey Tubbs! This is my childhood friend Y/n, she moved here recently." Hazel chirps. "Hi Y/n! My names Tubbo!" Tubbo enthusiastically greeted. "Its nice to meet you Tubbo!" I replied. He quickly went back to the front though, but after a few minutes he came back with our food. "Thanks Tubbo!" We both thanked him and started eating, talking and catching up with each other in between. The most random of topics, reminiscing memories and a few questions here and there filled the area, a smile plastered on both of our faces. Apparently, Hazel lived quite close to the casino, just a road down. I figured we could go together tonight since I wanted to play a few games and she wanted a drink or two, though most importantly we wanted to spend some time.

"You still play card games?? Are you still as good as before?" Hazel smiled, looking slightly up at the ceiling as if remembering my victories against her as teens. "'Course I still love it- I only play better now!" I proudly said. "You know, you should play against the guy who owns this place. His name is Quackity, he hangs out at the casino usually at night. I should introduce you guys! He usually wears a white shirt and suspenders with a black dress pants or whatever, I'd totally watch you guys play! Oh and did I mention he's never lost a match before?-" She rambled, I quietly chuckled to myself, knowing I already defied those odds. I never interrupted her though, even if I wanted to, I could never ever stop her rambling, even as a teenager. Though I always found her stories and going off track to be intriguing and comforting.

"And you've never lost a match either! Have you ever been to that casino? Its huge! And there's so many tables and machines and fun- even if you're just watching! Oh, that reminds me about how Aria is also good at gambling! I always lose to you guys. Actually you guys should meet!! Oh my God, so many things to do!" Her eyes were practically stars and hearts now as she happily squealed. I smiled, remembering why she was my best friend for so long. "Any where you wanna go I'm down, as long as it isn't another cheap pub." I laughed as did she. The last time we went to one, she almost threw up on the dance floor from all of the drinks she had, and many more things which I'm almost sure she didn't remember.

2 hours had gone by, and at this point Hazel needed to be home and, honestly, I didn't but I needed to do some laundry anyways. "I'll message you about tonight and I'll pick you up." She said, smiling and greeting me as I did the same. I pulled the shorter female into a hug, smiling as I did so. "I really missed you, y'know?" She said. "So did I, I'm really happy I moved here." I replied. Eventually, she departed as I climbed the stairs to my apartment. Time to do some laundry, I guess. I wanted to take a shower afterwards aswell, today was a lot to take in...
