Y/N POV

The players around me groaned. I won again. Poker here was a piece of cake! I'd been playing for at least 20 minutes, moving from table to table and winning almost every single time. Right now I sat at a rather large Poker table, nearly all chips stood right in front of my hidden cards.

I revealed my cards, two Aces and one King. An ace also stood in the middle of the table, the cards lined up there. I smiled, I had the best cards. Every other player had numbers, Jacks or Queens with nobody else matching better than my cards. Taking my chips, I knew it was time to quit here or I could risk it all. I decided playing it safe would be good for now. I gained $10 000 from just moving from table to table, game to game.

I thought now would be the good time to challenge the mysterious man by the small table in the corner. I took my chips with, "Alright boys, see you next time. You're lucky I didn't play another round!" I exclaimed, turning around and now facing the direction of the small table, slowly walking there.

I took a seat, again analyzing the face of my now competitor. "Hello, hermosa, what brings you to El casino de Las Nevadas?" The man spoke, twisting a chip in his hand. He had an accent, a slightly husky voice and seemed to smirk even with his voice, if his expression wasn't enough. He seemed cocky and proud.

"Just looking for some good competition, as usual, oh and the name's Y/n." I replied, matching his tone. He glanced at me and smiled. "Well, Y/n, you're in luck. I've seen you play at the other tables. It's refreshing to finally find some good competencia, though I must ask, are you sure you want to bet against El Rey del casino? [𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕜𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕔𝕒𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕠] I must warn you that I've never lost a game of BlackJack my whole life, oh, and call me Quackity" He spoke, his voice lowering and his accent strengthening.

"Well, 'El Rey del casino'" I mocked his 'title', "I must warn you by saying that I've never lost either. May the best gambler win." "$10 000 since you're so confident, hermosa. Best of 10, sí?" He said. "Best of 10." I replied. We stood up and shook hands. I pushed $10 000 worth of chips onto the table as did Quackity. He dealt the first card... Dammit, an 8 of hearts. He gave himself a card as well. He placed my next card onto the table. I slowly looked at the number, an 8 of spades. How coincidental.

His first was a King of diamonds. Now I was nervous. His last card hidden, he checked it. "Hit?" He questioned. I was nervous about a 16, yet my face showed no emotion. I decided to play it safe and declined. He flipped his card, revealing a 9 of clubs. I internally groaned, he won the first round. He seemed to smirk through his own Poker face and I could almost hear his laughter.

The next round started. My first card was a 10 of spades. I was a bit more confident...that was until my next card was a 5 of clubs. It got me reminding myself that I had never ever lost a game, even at the mere five years of age I won every game my mother played with me. I was starting to question my skill, this man, the man sat infront of me was the only man to ever beat me in a game of gamble. The only memory of losing a game was at 4 years old, when I was learning to play. His first card was an Ace of hearts, his second was hidden. "Hit?" He asked.

"Hit." I replied. He added a card to the two infront of me. An 8 of goddamn diamonds! How coincidental do things get here?? I was fuming, I've never in my life felt more defeated that now. He revealed his card, his coffee brown eyes locking on my e/c ones. He flipped the card, there on the card sat a Queen of clubs.

How did he manage to pull this? Goodness knows. I doubt he's cheating as I'd watched him before and observed his every move then and now. His eyes twinkled as he spoke. "Nervous, hermosa?", I just shook my head, our eyes still locked. I decided it was not worth answering. We then continued the game. Chip by chip moved to one side of the table, as atleast 3 more rounds passed. A lot of previous players and patrons were now watching our game, I could feel the many eyes on me as they whispered and muttered to each other. I looked down at my cards, and once more I lost.

3rd person POV

The oh-so-mysterious Quackity smiled. His dark locks fell beneath his navy beanie as the thought of victory ran through his mind. She, on the other hand, was in a total panic. She'd never known how to deal with recovering from losing just one round let alone the other 8 rounds that had passed. Two more rounds would tell who would win. Two rounds stood between complete embarrassment or total redemption. Either way, she knew she'd come back to play against Quackity once more. After all, she's living in Las Nevadas.

Quackity smiled once more unable to keep the emotion of pure happiness inside. He won the 9th round with a Blackjack. He spoke up once more; "Hermosa, how about this. I'm feeling quite nice so if you win this round, you take it as double, if I win, I take it all. Deal?" She hesitated."Deal." She blurted. And now the final round begun.
