"I don't know what you're going on about, but we're definitely winning." The blonde girl with blue eyes said as she flipped her golden locks. A confident smirk took place on her rosy lips and she proceeded to cross her arms over her chest and raise her chin up to show more confidence in her words. The green haired girl let out a loud laugh and patted her on the shoulder with a bit of force as an irk mark appeared on the left side of her forehead. "I love the confidence, really. But you guys aren't winning." Kayano replied back, a smirk taking over her features as well.

"Really? How so?" Nakamura asked as Kayano raised her brow giving her a "duh" look. "Are you forgetting who we have on our team? She's definitely going to beat up Karma's ass and you won't be able to do nothing. Ohhh, I can taste the sweet victory!" The green haired girl closed her eyes, already fantasizing over their victory on the challenge. Nakamura held in the chuckle she wanted to let out as soon as she saw the (H/C) haired girl approaching them silently. Kayano didn't even notice her, not even when the girl stood right next to her and looked at her in confusion on why her hazel eyed friend was celebrating already.

"You sure?" Asked Nakamura as she snorted a bit.

"Of course! No one can beat-"

"(Y/N) has forfeited the challenge." Karasuma's voice interrupted her and the girl's eyes flew open in shock. "What?!" She yelled, and when she noticed the presence of her friend right next to her, she grabbed her by the shoulders harshly and started shaking her back and forth. "What are you doing?! Are you insane? It was you and Nagisa versus Karma! We had this in the bag, don't you realize Koro Sensei's life is on the line?!" Kayano didn't even let the girl speak her mind, asking questions after questions without stopping. (Y/N) then gently held her hands and gave the girl a reassuring smile to calm her down a bit. "I know, but there's something more to this challenge. I noticed there's some kind of tension between Karma and Nagisa. So what better way for them to solve it right here and now? Besides, we gotta have faith in our leader, he can do this. We chose to follow him on this path, we can't start doubting now. Even if it doesn't seem like the odds are in our favor."

Everyone grew silent at the girl's words, knowing she was right. They had to put their trust on their team as well. "I mean, odds were definitely on your favor, you just chose to make it more-" Maehara began speaking, but was instantly cut off when the (H/C) haired girl slapped him over the head. "What kind of tension are we talking about?" Asked Nakamura next, a teasing smile on her face now. (Y/N)'s right eyebrow twitched in annoyance and took a deep breath, holding herself back to not slam their heads on the ground. "You guys really didn't pay attention to the important parts of my speech right?"

"No."

"Not really."

"You lost me at, "(Y/N) has forfeited the challenge."."

"Unbelievable." The small assassin uttered and sighed. Soon, everything turned more serious and the joking atmosphere went away in an instant. Everyone saw Nagisa and Karma coming out to the field where all of them could see their silhouettes down there. The tension grew thick as everyone realized that in that very moment, someone's fate would be decided and no one knew how it would finish.
