"This is blank."

"Indeed it is."

Things had slightly returned to the way they were supposed to be. (Y/N) was let out of the hospital after her wounds were healed. She of course, had a long conversation with Koro Sensei; as well as a lot of scolding from Karasuma. Irina had too apologized to the girl, who gladly accepted the apology. Though she did got a little bit mad at the blonde for "betraying" them. The girl with (H/C) locks didn't know what happened to the Shinigami, but she didn't want to ask about it either way. When she had returned home, she tested out her tentacles. Luckily for her, they had regrown. Koro Sensei though felt suspicious about how her wounds healed too quickly. But he let it slide once again, since the girl said it was due to the experiments she had gone through. And they had previously had a conversation about what had happened to her.

When she went back to school, she had an earful from her classmates; who were not happy at her decisions. But in the end, they were just happy she was okay. Her phone was handed to her by Itona, who took the time to fix it for the girl. (Y/N) was happy and grateful for the white haired boy. Surprisingly to everyone, she saw him as her brother. Itona didn't mind it either way, because he had felt the same with her. They were, in a way, siblings. What they now had been doing, was filling a survey. A Future Planning Survey. They had to put their desired school, and two career choices they had as well desired. (Y/N)'s mind went blank after that.

She never thought much about her future, nevertheless if it was going to end. Yes, their deadline was just around the corner; they had only four months. But even if they succeeded, she didn't know what she would do after that. The girl with (E/C) eyes didn't even know if she'd be able to keep on studying, or go to college even. After the mission is over, she'll be right back to where she belongs. The lab. It even discouraged her too. Everyone looked like they all knew what they wanted, even Terasaka. (Y/N) the only thing she desired at the moment was freedom. After that, well, she'd have to wait and see. Even so, the teen didn't know if that would be possible in the future. As far as she knew, there was no escape route for her. The only thing she had left was to enjoy her last months with her friends. Before all of it gets taken away.

"Come on in!"

This is what led her to stand in front of the octopus in the teacher's lounge. He had been seeing each of his students, to see what things they have chosen, or are interested in. That way, he could be able to help them; or even give them some kind of advice. But, he was confused when he saw the girl's paper to be blank. "You don't have a career choice you would like to take?" He asked her, and motioned for her to take a seat. She did that, and after only shrugged. (Y/N) didn't have big talents, other than probably killing. And that's not something she desired, quite the opposite actually. She wanted one day to step away from the assassination world; not fully forget about it. Just, not participate in it anymore. It was not something she was proud of, and it wasn't her choice either way. The last fight she had, almost ended her life. Just because she was so hesitant to kill again. Yes, it was something that she had done countless of times. But now it was different, because she felt she had a choice. Even if it wasn't true. The girl felt if she was to be put in a situation that she'd have to kill to survive again, she didn't know if she could do it. Because Koro Sensei taught her, that everyone's lives matter.

"Then, what do you want?" Koro Sensei questioned her, keeping his beady eyes on her form. She sighed, and shook her head, turning to look at him as well. "What I want, is something I can't get." The yellow blob hummed, taking in her words slowly; and signaled her to elaborate. "Koro Sensei, do you think someone like me, would be able to live a normal life? The answer is no, 'cause it is far from that. Look, you know where I come from, and you know how messed up it can be. I just want to be... I don't know. I want to be free, have my own choices. I want a reason to keep on going. Something to look forward in life, do you understand?" She explained, Koro Sensei looked at her in silence. Not uttering a single word. (Y/N) sighed at that, and crossed her arms. She stood up from her chair, ready to head towards the door. Ready to forget that conversation ever happened. "Never mind, you wouldn't understand."
