"You can't be serious right now. You can't leave us. W-What will we do-" Two adults in the living room were arguing; while a little baby girl slept pleasantly on her crib upstairs. The woman looked at the man in front of her with a look of sadness, and anger. The man in front of her frowned, as he held a suitcase tightly by his side.

What was happening?

Well, it appeared someone was backing out, and for good. "I can't raise her on my own, y-you promised we would do this together! Why do you think I married you? So we could always be together. We're family, you can't walk out on us! I left everything behind for you, for her!" The woman let out a choked sob, as she covered her mouth. Tears cascaded down her cheeks, making them get damper by the seconds. Those little water droplets looking like jewels as they landed on the ground. Her crystal tears.

The man placed his suitcase down, and proceeded to pull the woman in for a hug. She kept crying, not believing what was happening. She wasn't ready to let go, even if he told her to prepare for this moment.

"....I've done bad things, things I regret doing. Unfortunately, I think it's time for it to get back at me. I wish there was another way, but there isn't. I'm sorry.." The woman, who was hiding her face on her husband's chest, raised her head up to look at him. With clenched fists, she hit him lightly on the chest out of anger. Not too hard, nor soft. "There's always another way! We can move, or we can look for someone to help us, there are always solutions for this. So don't try to make up excuses! If we have to hide, then-"

"I don't want you to do that." His icy cold tone shocked the female. He would usually use a gentle tone on her, but this time it was different. Although when he saw the look of hurt in her eyes, his eyes soften, and his tone became soft once again. "I don't want you, or our baby girl to live like this. I want the two of you to be free, to explore this world and be happy! I....I'm the one holding you back. And I'm not dragging you two into this mess. That's the last thing I want. If something was to happen to any of you, I could never forgive myself."

"So that's your solution? To leave?"

"I'm afraid so.."

The man released her from the hug, and grabbed his suitcase once again. He gave her a small smile, and gave the woman a long loving kiss on her forehead. He stroked her long brown locks with his hands, as he inhaled the sweet scent his wife gave out. It would be the last time he'd see her, he was sure about that. And he wouldn't admit, but he was scared. He wasn't ready to let go either. He wanted to live his whole life with her, to see his daughter grow up too. But, life doesn't always goes as one plans. "Goodbye, sweetheart. I love you.." He made his way towards the opened door. The female with brown locks looked as he walked out of the house, her heart clenching painfully.

She stood there for a few more seconds, before running towards where he just went by. She wanted to catch up to him, though the woman stopped in her tracks, as a loud cry was heard from the inside. Her little girl had woken up. She watched as the figure of her husband grew distant by the millisecond, and she couldn't do anything about it. The only thing she did was turn around, and walk back inside the house. Her heart shattering as he got further away.

The man stopped, and turned to glance at what was his house for one last time. Where he had so many memories with the woman he loved. It hurt him, it really did. But it was for their own good.
