jonathan:

jonathan couldn't help but giggle at steve's antics. they had been texting nonstop since december twenty-ninth. they weren't offical but both knew it would happen soon.

when jonathan had come home late that night joyce and will had been waiting for him, watching tv. they both saw the smile plastered on jonathan's face and knew something had happened. joyce had asked what happened and jonathan just said that him and steve had kissed, after that he went to bed while joyce smiled, ecstatic that her son had found someone that made him feel as if he were on cloud nine.

will immediately went to text the groupchat he had with his friends and updated them about jonathan and steve's love life. dustin probably had to be the most happiest one, partly because steve finally would shut up about wills brother and partly because his best friend had finally got hope for another stable relationship.

jonathan was utterly in love with the older and the same could be said the other way around. who knew; a freak and a reputable guy could coexist together and make into a working relationship. jonathan didn't know how he'd fallen in love with steve but he knew he loved him now and that's the only thing that mattered right now.
