An array of smells assaulted Jisung's nose when he walked into the kitchen, his stomach letting out a loud gurgle as a response.

It amazed Jisung how he still hadn't eaten everything off the menu after a year of working at Felix's restaurant.

"Wash your hands and put on your apron. The lunch rush is starting," Felix, the manager, muttered as soon as he caught sight of him.

Jisung did as he was told then made his way out into the seating area to seat and serve the customers who were starting to come in waves.

He'd managed to seat three groups of people when he caught sight of them. But one particular person caught all of his attention.

The facial features of the man he was staring at looked so familiar that it caused a stir in his stomach. Jisung was unsure why.

It was only after he took another look at the man that he realized where he knew him from. Tinder. The guy who he hadn't matched with yet.

Jisung knew since when he'd gotten up,  he checked his phone for a notification and found none.

His profile had said that his name was Minho and that he was 23 and worked at an architecture firm near the restaurant.

Much like his picture, there were small circle frame glasses perched on his nose and his lips were pursed as he looked over the menu.

"Get your head out of your ass and attend to your section, that man has been trying to get your attention for minutes," his colleague Seungmin, grumbled and brushed past him.

Jisung turned his head away from Minho and turned around to see a small man struggling to make eye contact with him.

Upon arriving at the table, Jisung apologized and wrote down the man and his girlfriend's orders.

An entire hour passed before Jisung had enough time to turn his attention back towards Minho. The man was halfway through his food, scrolling through a document or webpage on his phone.

"Do you like him or something? You've been kinda off all day," Hyunjin asked with a grin that never failed to irritate Jisung.

Most of their customers were finishing up their meals and no one new had walked in, so the both of them were leaning on the counters in the kitchen. There wasn't much to do now really.

Felix had passed them once or twice but didn't say anything about their inactivity since he also understood that his employees (who he prefers to call as his friends) needed some rest.

"I saw him on Tinder and accidentally super-liked him." Hyunjin stood up straight, his mouth hung open in faux shock.

"Oh my god, Jisung, I think you're the only guy I've known who's clumsy enough to accidentally super-like someone."

He'd been about to reply when he saw Minho open tinder. He set his phone on the table for privacy and started to swipe, mostly lefts, until he came to something that he swiped right on.

Jisung's heart jumped into his throat and he fought the urge to go be nosey. But he was stopped when the phone in his pocket vibrated.

Eagerly, he fished it out and with wide eyes, he turned to look at Hyunjin. "I can't believe it," he whispered, putting his hand over his mouth as he looked at his phone.

There was a notification on his lock screen boasting about a new Tinder match. When he pressed it, Minho's face was in his collection of matches. "Am I dreaming right now?"

He might've stared at the screen for about five minutes before Hyunjin pinched him and he let out a yelp, dropping his phone on the counter.

Jisung was in the process of reaching to choke Hyunjin when his phone vibrated again and Minho's picture moved to his chats.

Minho was talking to him on Tinder like he wasn't just ten feet away. Should he answer now or wait till later?

He wasn't allowed to dwell on his thoughts much longer because Seungmin found his way to the kitchen and glared at him and Hyunjin, silently letting them know that the customers now needed them.
