The next morning, Jisung dragged himself to work, the weight of the previous day's emotions still lingering in the air.
As he entered the bustling restaurant, the familiar smells and sounds offered little comfort. He mechanically went about his duties, trying to push aside the thoughts in his head.
Unbeknownst to Jisung, Minho had decided to pay him a surprise visit.
Concerned about the sudden change in Jisung's demeanor, he wanted to check on him and make sure everything was okay.
As he entered the restaurant, he scanned the room until he spotted Jisung busy at work.
"Hey, Jisung!" He called out, trying to put on a cheerful tone.
Jisung looked up, feigning surprise. "Oh, hey. What brings you here?"
"Just wanted to check in on you. How are you feeling? You okay?" Minho said, concern evident in his eyes.
Jisung shrugged nonchalantly, avoiding eye contact. "Yeah, just had some stuff on my mind. Nothing to worry about."
Hyunjin, always quick to pick up on tension, joined the scene. "Minho, my man, what's the occasion? Why'd you visit us during the lunch rush?"
"Oh, I just wanted to see how Jisung was doing."
"Everything okay, Jisung?" Hyunjin asked, a mischievous glint in his eyes, as if he held a secret that he was itching to spill.
"Yeah," Jisung replied, plastering a smile on his face.
Minho couldn't shake the feeling that something was off, but he decided not to press further in front of Hyunjin. "Alright then, just wanted to make sure. Let me know if you need anything, okay?"
Jisung nodded dismissively, turning his attention back to his tasks. Minho exchanged a glance with Hyunjin before reluctantly leaving.
As Minho walked away, Hyunjin couldn't resist teasing.
"Having a lover's quarrel, huh?"
Minho sighed, "We're not... arguing? But something's not right."
Hyunjin shrugged, "Well, good luck figuring it out. If you ever need relationship advice, the amazing Hwang Hyunjin is always here."
Minho chuckled, shaking his head. "Thanks, I'll catch you later; I need to head off to work. Please tell Jisung too."

Later that day, after Hyunjin and Jisung's shift ended, they found themselves in the back alley of the restaurant, preparing to head home.
Hyunjin couldn't resist the lingering curiosity. "Alright, spill the beans, Jisung. What's going on between you and Minho?"
"There's nothing going on. We're okay, what do you mean?"
Hyunjin, not one to be easily brushed off, crossed his arms. "Come on, Jisung. You can't keep secrets from me. What happened?"
Jisung sighed, realizing he couldn't keep it all to himself.
"I guess I assumed Minho and I were more than we actually are. I thought we were like, dating, but yesterday he said we aren't. It feels like everything's up in the air, and I don't know where we stand."
Hyunjin frowned, "Have you talked to him about it?"
Jisung shook his head, "Not really. I don't even know how to bring it up. And when he visited me today at work, it just felt awkward."
Hyunjin patted Jisung on the back, offering some reassurance.
"Relationships are tricky, but communication is key. You need to have an honest conversation with Minho and figure out what you both want."
Jisung sighed, realizing that Hyunjin was right. "I just don't want to mess things up or make them more complicated."
Hyunjin nudged him playfully, "Well, doing nothing won't solve anything either. Talk to Minho, figure out where his head's at, and go from there. It will be okay, trust me."
Jisung nodded, grateful for Hyunjin's advice. "For the first time you actually said something sensible."
"Well, I can be a wise sage when I want to be. Call me Hwang Hyunjin, the Relationship Whisperer."
