The next day, Jisung woke up, the warm sunlight streaming through his window, casting a gentle glow on his room.

It was his day off, and a newfound excitement filled the air.

Grabbing his phone, he contemplated the idea of spending the day with Minho. After a moment of hesitation, he decided to go for it.

He composed a casual message:

"Hey, Minho! Since it's my day off, I was thinking... maybe we could hang out? Grab some coffee, watch a movie, or just enjoy each other's company. What do you think?"

He pressed send and anxiously waited for Minho's response.

A few moments later, his phone buzzed with a notification.

Minho's playful reply appeared on the screen, "A hangout, huh? Or are you asking me out on a date?"

Jisung's eyes widened as he read the message. He felt a blush creeping up his cheeks.

"Uh, well, I mean... I thought maybe it could be like a casual thing. But if you prefer, we can call it a date."

Minho chuckled on the other end of the conversation.

"Relax, Jisung. I was just teasing. A hangout sounds perfect. Let's spend the day together. Any ideas on what you'd like to do?"

Jisung, relieved by Minho's easygoing response, grinned.

"Well, how about we start with brunch? There's this cute café nearby that serves amazing pancakes."

"Sounds great! I'll meet you there in an hour?"

"Perfect! See you then!"

As Jisung got ready for the day, he opted for his favorite cute yellow shirt, the one that never failed to lift his spirits.

He was about to embark on a day of "hanging out" with Minho, and the thought brought a smile to his face.

At the café, Jisung and Minho found a cozy corner with a view of the bustling street outside. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air as they settled in.

As they enjoyed brunch, the café became a cozy place filled with laughter and conversation. The clinking of utensils and distant chatter created a pleasant background noise.

"So, Jisung, what's your favorite thing about working at the restaurant?" Minho inquired, his eyes gleaming with curiosity.

Jisung chuckled, twirling a strand of hair between his fingers. "Well, aside from the free food, I think it's the people. The camaraderie we share, especially with Hyunjin, makes the long hours worth it."

Minho nodded, a thoughtful expression on his face.

"That's true. I've noticed there's a special bond between you and Hyunjin. How did you two become friends?"

Jisung's eyes sparkled with nostalgia. "Oh, Hyunjin and I go way back. We met during our college days, and our friendship just clicked."

Minho leaned in with genuine interest.

"College, huh? Any memorable stories?"

Jisung laughed, recalling fond memories.

"Oh, plenty! There was this one time during finals week when we were so sleep-deprived that we decided to pull an all-nighter at a 24/7 pancake place. Ended up eating pancakes while studying, and, let me tell you, syrup and textbooks don't mix well."

Minho chuckled, "Any other escapades?"

"Well, there was this failed attempt at learning salsa dancing for a themed party. We stepped on each other's toes more than we danced."

Minho laughed heartily, enjoying the glimpses into Jisung's past. "Seems like you two had quite the journey together."

Jisung nodded. "Absolutely. Hyunjin is like the brother I never had. We've seen each other through ups and downs, and even now, working at the restaurant together brings back those college vibes."

Their conversation seamlessly flowed from one topic to another, touching on their favorite movies, shared hobbies, and even their most embarrassing childhood stories.

As they finished their brunch, Jisung leaned back in his chair, a content smile on his face. "So, Minho, any plans for the rest of the day? Where do you want to go next?"

Minho thought for a moment, a playful glint in his eyes. "How about an amusement park? It's been a while since I've been on a roller coaster. What do you think?"

Jisung's eyes lit up with excitement. "An amusement park? That sounds like so much fun! Let's do it!"

They paid the bill, leaving the cozy cafe to embark on the thrilling adventure of an afternoon at the amusement park.
