"Please. I don't want to talk about it." Iniwas ko ang tingin ko sa kanya.
"But I want to talk about it." He insisted. I tried to fled from his grip pero masyado siyang malakas.
"Hindi kita gusto, dahil."
Please! Stop! Enough with this drama.
"Mahal kita." He said at yumuko na tila nahihiya.
"How did you know that it was love? Wave?" Ngayon medyo nalilito na ako.
"Bata palang tayo. Hindi ka siguro sa nararamdamang mong yan. You don't know what you are saying." For the second time I tried to flee from his grip but I failed.
"I don't know. But all I know is that I love you." He said and I smiled.
"That three words are sacred." I said.
"It's too powerful. Mga bata pa tayo Wave. We are 17 years old. Wake up! Whatever your feeling right now? It's just infatuation." I said to him.
"No. I am sure that it is Love. Please Chelsea. Hear me first." He pleaded.
"I want to marry you. I know na bata pa tayo pero I'll let you do what you want."
"I want to talk to my parents first." I said at binitawan niya na ang kamay ko. Umakyat na ako at nagkulong.
--
Days passed and bumalik na ako sa Dorm. Mom and Dad didn't try to talk to me dahil alam nilang hindi pa ako handa.
"You're spacing out again." Lucy tapped my shoulders. Yeah I know. I tend to space out these days.
Masyadong mabigat ang iniisip ko ngayon. I decided to go to our house.
I just want to know their reason kung bakit to nila nagawa.
--
I arrived at my home. Sinalubong kaagad nila ako nang yakap.
"Mom. Dad. Palugi na ba ang negosyo natin?" I asked them.
"No sweetie." They said in unison.
"But why did you do this?"
Lumapit sila sa akin and they hugged me again tight.
"We just want to secure your future." Dad said.
"In case if something happens to our business." Mom continued.
"But Mom." I tried to protest but.
"Our decision is final sweetie." Dad said firmly. I just sighed. Mukhang wala na talaga akong magagawa.
--
"Ikaw. Ba't di mo sinabi sa aking ikakasal ka na rin?" Sinampal ko sa braso si Lucy. Yeah, you're right! Ikakasal na rin siya. Same reason like mine.
"Aray." She protested.
"Mabait kasi akong anak." She said and I rolled my eyes.
"Di ka ba natatakot?" I asked.
"At first oo. Hindi biro ang pag-aasawa. Ni hindi ko nga kilala ang aking mapapangasawa. But I put my trust on my parents. Alam kong hindi nila ako ipapahamak." She said with determination.
"Fine. Okay." I answered too. I guess this is my fate now. Isn't it?
