//A month later//

Y/n POV:

I've been here for a month looking at my lifeless body I don't know how but I can hear them talk around me. The doctors kept walking in and out of my hospital room checking monitors or even ranting out to my body. I kept listening to their sorrow later on I noticed I can get out of the hospital so the only reasonable thing I did was.... Yeah follow shanks. He seemed sad his smile never present anymore he has dark circles under his eyes. He became more grumpy and he started giving homework not one but three a day and he'll give severe punishment to who doesn't do it. He became scary. You didn't mind like at all let them suffer. when he got to the hospital after school hours he'd stay with you the whole night then go to work again so basically he is moving between school and the hospital and barely home. Many women's tried dating him but he turn them down in a humiliating way for them.

You were grateful that he didn't date anyone except for you. "listen sir shanks if she doesn't wake up in two weeks we have to cut her life support and let her move on" the doctor said "bu- but she can wake in that time right? And then she'll stay with me I can't live without her she's my everything " shanks replied pleading. "as I said it depends on her will if she wakes up or not now if you may excuse me " the doctor bowed and left. You followed shanks to your hospital room where he suddenly broke down crying. You've never seen him cry. You closed your eyes and when you opened them again you were in a pitch black place with (b/f/n) there she was smiling then said "come on your time is near I have came to take you with me. We can be together again " you looked at her for a minute then screamed "NO" she looked surprised for a second "no?" she repeated "not now I have to go back my friends need me shanks need me we can meet when I'm older when I finally reached my goals not now I have to help others" you said sternly. She smiled a bit then said "go we'll meet another day Old Friend " you nodded then ran towards the small light that was becoming larger by the second. When you passed it. You felt something warm on your hand so you hold it you tried opening your eyes but your vision is blurry. When you finally opened your eyes you were met by a white ceiling and a bit of red in the corner of your vision "sh-shanks?" you asked tiredly then you heard "doctor!! she's awake!" and then some small foot steps . You felt numb around your hole body Maybe cause you didn't move for a month. You turned around and saw that shanks was the one holding your hand the doctor came in checked your health and removed some of the supporting monitors shanks helped you up slightly and leaned you on his chest so you were in a sitting position. After the doctor finished "your well enough to leave in two days miss L/N but your going to stay in a wheelchair for a while you're whole body weekend by not moving for a while you'll need someone by you 24/7 to help you with the normal things" he explained then took his leave. You smiled and turned your head slightly you then gave shanks a peck on his lips. He didn't seem satisfied by it so he kissed you on a more passionate kiss. He pinched your side slightly that made you gasp in pain so he took it as an opportunity to slip his tongue in your mouth exploring it. You weren't having any kind of this shit so you bit him. He broke the kiss and saw your red pouting face. He laughed at your face then patted your head and kissed your cheek saying he'll be right back. When he came back. He was holding a tray of food d that's when you noticed how hungry you actually are. When you finished eating. The door bust open. Then luffy came running and crashed into you. He was followed by ace who ALSO crashed into you making you fall off the bed Sabo Marco and Thatch following in tow when they saw them crash into you they all prayed them off of you. While Shanks picked you up and hold you to himself "mine" he growled at the others. They took a few steps back with their hands up.

//A few days later //

You were at shanks backyard with him pushing the wheelchair he's been keeping you busy all day to not remember your situation and he did it pretty well. Listening to music taking you to a movie the mall a picnic it was all nice he was helping you learn how to walk again with your uncle and his wife , the Newgate boys and the straw hats watching while you seem like a god damned child again. You finally walked a bit so you let go of his hand and walked a bit there was some cheering as a congratulations until you fall face first to the floor. They all began laughing while Shanks hurried to you and helped you up. Then begun your walking lesson again. You kept tripping over air and nothing while walking. When you finally got the grasp of it you walked for a few minutes until you said yeah fuck it let's run and guess what you fell down for what felt like the millionth time this day. You hit your head on a rock that made blood tickle down your temple. You turned around then layed on your back and started laughing. shanks took notice of the Crimson Red liquid running down your forehead so he took the first aid kit and bandaged your head. You looked at the sky and said" what a nice day it is hahaha" you then kissed his cheek and started walking away laughing. The others straw hats except luffy were shocked. The Newgate boys were more concerned because you hit your head then you kissing his cheek. You then fell yet again and hit your head then started crying. They all circulated you panicking while trying to calm you down then he got an idea "listen if you stop crying I'll take you to an amusement park tomorrow as our first date! " exclaimed shanks. You looked at him "pro-promise?" you asked cutely. He only nodded in fear of his words betraying.

//In the morning//

Ace POV:

We all woke up early in the morning while the two love birds were still sleeping I was told from pineapple head to go and wake them up when I was about to open the door I heard a quiet moan from inside then a sorry from a male voice

"A-ah shanks"

"Sorry did I hurt you"
