"NOELLE WAKE UP!" My mother yells at me.
My name is Noelle Holiday. I am 15 years old... I am a "Monster" according to biology.
"NOW!" she yells again, I woke up "Y-Yes, mom?" I asked, very sleepy "YOU SLEPT IN!" she yells at me.
I tend to do that... especially when I'm thinking about Susie. She's badass, she isn't scared to break the rules... I-I could never do that
"Oh..." I'm still trying to wake up.... "OH DEAR!" I hurry to get fresh clothing on, brush my teeth, brush my fur and tail... you know, all the things a girl needs... "GO NOW! I'M NOT DRIVING YOU, I'M WAY TOO BUSY!"
My mom wasn't always so harsh... she only got this way after my sister... vanished...
I left in a hurry
School was only a 7 minute walk, but it was kinda cold out... I mean it's fall so of course it'd be a little chilly out...
Y'know, I never minded the cold that much...
Amazingly I was the second one there... N-No one else in my class really... Pays attention... except Berdly...
Berdly... he... he's kinda annoying bluntly put... he thinks he's better than everyone
"Ah, dearest Noelle!" Berdly says excitedly. "H-Hi Berdly!" I replied. It's not that I don't like him or anything!!! He just... He wants my help... but doesn't know how to ask for it without being a jerk about it. "I'd like to, once more, express my gratitude for your help with the Algebra assignment yesterday. Polynomials now stand no match to me!" Berdly told me. He tires to sound smart... he... really isn't.... but hey, I'm really his only friend... "I-It was nothing, I'm just happy I can help" I tell him
Our teacher, Ms. Alphys, didn't see me come in, I'm guessing she didn't see him either as that she's still watching something on her phone. It sounded like she was watching something in a different language. She looks away from her phone and jumps
"AH!" She says with surprise "O-oh, sorry about that you too" she tells us "Didn't see either of you c-come in. Um, I'll have to... just keep a better eye out huh?" We couldn't tell if she was literally asking us or if she was talking to herself... "Hah!" Berdly kinda laughs "You SHOULD Ms. Alphys! Why, what if, someone came in with a gun?" he asks... "Oh... you do make a point Berdly" she admits.
I just watched in silence... If I spoke up, I just feel like he would shush me or something...
About five minutes later, Catti comes in, she's on her phone again, bumping into desks, not caring what she's hitting. "G-Good morning Catti" Ms. Alphys says to Catti "....Hi" Catti replies, not really paying attention. Jockington comes in next. Perfect as always. "Yo, Catti! Whazzup?" he asks her "...nothing much" she tells him. In reality, they're best friends. A few minutes later Monster Kid, Snowdrake, and Temmie come in, chatting amongst themselves
The bell rings
"Good morning class" Ms. Alphys says to us all. "Good morning Ms. Alphys" Me, Berdly, Jockington, and Temmie reply. "As we went over yesterday" she begins "You are all doing a project with a partner. S-So does everyone have a-" but Kris enters the room before Alphys can finish her sentence. "O-Oh! K-Kris! I thought you weren't coming today... w-we were just making sure that everyone has a partner... ummm... go ask around if you don't have one" Kris just slightly nods, as he looks around. After a bit he talks to me.
