"You... found Max? Is she alright? That... that thing isn't still hunting her, is it?" Susan's legs almost collapsed beneath her, and she would have fallen if I hadn't used my powers to steady her.

"She seems alright, and Henry isn't coming back. I killed him, remember? He can't hurt anyone anymore," That last part was more to myself than Susan. Henry Creel was dead, but I still had to convince myself sometimes. After calming Susan down a bit, I finished explaining what had happened with Max, answering what felt like a hundred questions along the way.

"Jane, thank you so much for helping my daughter!" Susan was tearing up. "If you can get to her again, just... tell her I'm sorry. For everything."

"I will," I said, glad that I could still help. We talked for another hour before I headed home. Hopper said that he invited someone over tonight, so I decided to sleep in Argyle's van.

"Argyle? Are you in here?" I knocked on the passenger door. If he wasn't inside then I'd just sleep in the woods. Anything was better than going inside right now.

"Jane! Come on in, brochacho! I got some pizza earlier, want some?" The back doors of the van opened, revealing Argyle holding a piece of pizza with pineapple, sausage, and mushrooms on it. I climbed in and grabbed a slice. I hadn't eaten since breakfast.

"So, what's tonight's reason, Jane? Guests again?" I had been sleeping in the van a lot over the summer, mostly because Hopper's friends were loud and made me upset. Argyle never minded, in fact he seemed to enjoy the company. Sometimes Will would join us, but he only came when he and Mike had been arguing.

"Yeah," I sighed, "Why is Hopper friends with them?"

"Wish I could tell you, brochacho!" Argyle smiled at me and took a bite of his pizza. He started talking about how he was going to open a pizza place in Hawkins so he had something to do during the day. After a while Will knocked on the door and came in.

"Hi Will. Are you ok?" I asked. Will only came in here when he had problems with Mike, so they must have fought.

"Yeah, it was just a small thing this time. He thought I was making you stop hanging out with him," Will said. "Same insults as always. Slurs and all."

"Wow man, again? I'm telling you dude, stop hanging out with him!" Argyle was right. Mike was horrible to Will. He just couldn't see it. I don't think either of them could. We ranted about Mike for a few hours and fell asleep.

Author's Note- I hope you liked this! I fixed some plot holes from earlier chapters, so that's cool! Hope you guys have a good day/night.
