The drive back to my house was a lot longer then usual. You could actually see my house from Toby's window. The big White church house on the hill. My dad used to be a pastor. Church and holiness is big in his book. Which is why when he comes back from business trips, jeans and tee shirts become my outfits. I guess I'm ready for a surprise visit now.
The past week, I've been all over the place. How the fuck was my mom going to take this? And my dad? I mean we could afford it, but I'm not ready. Not one bit. I know they won't be pissed about it, but disappointed. Something I feared making them.
I pulled up and walked the long stone path. Counted the gravel stones as I walked.
My mom as always was on the phone, blabbing her mouth off about who knows what or who. I walked in at the end of her conversation. "Okay, okay. Mhm hmm. Yes i'll be sure to call you later. Okay okay. Bye." She hung up, and smiled at me. I sat on my dads chair. It was the best chair ever. He loved it, because he could see the plasma, and me play in the backyard. As I got older, he kept reforming. In hopes I would go outside. Now laid an oversized pool. One i don't use often. He hated seeing people in his chair, but I always sat in it.
"So whatcha wanna do today, my love?" She smiled. Tell you I'm two months pregnant. "We could go shopping or.." She picked up a spa brochure. "The spa." I sent the best smile I could. I didn't want to go shopping, nor did I want to be touched. I didn't want anything actually. "Uh actually I wanted to talk to you about something." I whispered. You might hate me, but it's okay.
She shifted in her seat and looked at me sterner. "What is it? Is it bad?" She questioned. Just seeing how much she could possibly care made my skin burn. "Okay so um..." I stuttered. I just wanted to spit it out, be direct. "It was an accident, by far." She looked at me with pure confusion. "I'm-"
Saved by the bell? The church bells blew. I got up. "I got it." I smiled. I felt her eyes on me as I traveled to the door. Through the windows I saw nothing. I opened the door. No one was there. "Farrah? Who's at the door sweetie?" I step outside to see if someone was running.
Who plays ding song ditch to a church house?
I walked back in to my mom by the door. "It was some stupid kid probably." She gave me a reassuring nod, softly pulling me inside and closing the door. "Now what did you want to tell me?" My gut suddenly didn't want to push it up anymore.
"Oh, um I'm putting my band on hold." I lied. She frowned before grabbing me. "It's okay. I bet I couldn't play with my two best friends all over the place either." I sighed loudly. "Those Montana's." she sighed. I didn't want to hear her bash my friends. "I'm going to take a nap." I whispered. She kissed the side of my head. "Okay, but when you wake up. Shopping!" She giggled. I smile before walking my steps.
My dark room called my name. My sanctuary. My lair. My dungeon. Mine. I closed the door. It's darkness surrounding me. I slowly walked to my bathroom, to change from these jeans. I don't get how people wear them all day. I dropped them, and pulled my shirt off. The best clothes to sleep in, nothing. I stared into my mirror. My small stomach curving over my panty line. I sighed.
I walked to my bed. Begging to fall onto it. Just as I started to fall. I was caught. By two hands. They pulled me back to them. Their hair tickling the sensitive skin on my back. Their smell drowning me in extraordinary and devastating memories.
"Okay so when you play this note, you gotta play these two chords." He smiled. His fingers touched mine, moving them down to the right position. "Like this?" I asked, playing it.
"Yeah. Now everything together and the vocals." He grabbed the other guitar. "Ready?" He smiled. I nodded, and he started.
I just stood there. Not saying anything. I awaited his words. His head fell to my neck, his hands on my waist. I grabbed his hands. They reacted. They intwined in mine. He kissed my neck. I grew weak. His lips sending goosebumps throughout my body. "Is it mine?" He whispered.
How did he know? How did he even get in here? I felt a tear slide down my face. I choked on a sob. He turned me around. And for the first time In almost two months did I see his face. The moon brightening his features.
"I'm sorry Farrah. I'm sorry I put you-us in this. Everything. I'm sorry I ran away from you. I'm sorry I didn't want to talk to you. I'd never hurt you purposely. I've known you most of my life. You know me better then my sister." I sobbed slightly as he talked. His hand moved to my stomach. "I'll be there for you. For them. For us. I'm gonna be a man now. I swear I will. I love you Farrah."
Those four words made my heart flutter. I was in pure bliss. Was I dreaming. Was this some sick dream my mind played. His lips crashed into mine, making me realize. This is reality. I ran my hands through his hair. Our lips moved in sync. His tongue begged for entrance. I opened my mouth. Our tongues battling each other. We fell to my bed.
He used one hand to bring me back. He laid my head to the pillow. I sat up and ripped his shirt off. We paused. I stared at his chest, while he stared at me. From the moonlight, I could see he had a wolf tattooed on his chest. I ran my hand over it. Then I looked to his face again. He grew stubble. "It is yours." I whispered. He kissed me again. He pulled away. "Say it back." He said in between kisses on my neck. I ran my hands down his stomach. I started to unbuckle his pants. "I love you too Levi." I moaned. I felt him smile in my neck. He pushed me back down. And then I made love to the father of my child. The love of my life. Levi.
