Who better to operate it, than the one who created it?

When God created man, freedom was also accompanied. One rule was given as protection for His beloved crown of his creation. As one becomes aware of short coming and inequities, your mind is tugged away from your purpose and goal. Pulled from being who you were created to be and from your Maker.

How would you know if someone truly loves you, just for you? Not because of what they can gain. Nor because they are forced or obligated. Love cease to be once freedom is removed. When someone uses their freedom to choose, by making the choice, an act of love with generosity, leaving no room for reservation and with absence of expectation, will it have believed as truth that it was out of sheer admiration and love. Spouses refuses to commit adultery; in spite of how overpowering tempting it may seem and feel. Out of pure love. A reverent fear of losing the precious, holy love that is within the union of marriage. Using freedom to choose to honor and to the benefit of others, is an act of true love. Putting other's needs above that of your own desires and selfish ambition.

Both Adam and Eve sinned. But Eve was the first to act in disobedience. Not surprising that is harder for most females to recognize and acknowledge the beauty in which they were created, in a pure way. Even though they are the fairer of the crown of creation. Strange that of all the things they chose to cover themselves, they chose the leaves of a fig tree. Itchy and scratchy as it may be, as a constant irritating, hurtful reminder of the wrong they did. Leave wondering thought if they were at all able to remain still while hiding from God. I think not... So, when we do wrong things it haunts until you become used to be chased by it, or found freedom by repentance. The accuser, uses this as a strategy to force you deeper still and further away from your loving Creator.

So, the leaves were replaced by skin. Pondering how different we could be without skin - with all its nerves. Let us not go there, sounds dangerous. Wonder why Jesus cursed the fig tree. Which leaves were used to cover shame? Could it be that, because He is the light that drives out darkness and exposes the truth, fear of admission of wrongs is His enemy, as it blocks freedom, truth and light.

Guilt seeks punishment. See the longer we linger in guilt and shame the more we chase and desire punishment. It is like sitting in a very dark corner of a room, in waiting anticipation for the serpent to wrap himself around us. Squeezing and draining life out of us. Affecting all areas of our lives: finances, freedom, unity, peace, etc.

So, what happens when shame of sin is exposed and guilt seizes.

There is nothing to be accused of any longer, for it has been acknowledged and admitted. Guilt seizes to exist, for it feeds on being hidden in dark places. See when you sin, it is ultimately against God, for he created man. A good dose of repentance. To who? The One sinned against, God Creator of man.

True salvation is experienced, freedom from punishment, condemnation, guilt and shame.
