There was a grim outlook in the room. The moment when they would explain the darker aspects of their story was inching closer. The adults in the room knew this was the last time the world felt so free. Actually being able to live in or at the very least, bearable. A childish ambition and desire was overtaking back in those days, but once the final fight was over, darkness was looming. War was coming.

The kids as per usual, noticed what was wrong with their parents, especially Uncles Kirishima and Raylze. The atmosphere in the room was full of sadness..? And guilt especially. The kids were wondering if they shouldn't ask about it. A representative spoke up. His hair was a pale gray with duel eyes of red and stormy purple. His name was Igune.

The young kid spoke up. "Well, are you you gonna tell us or are you too gloomy to?"

They chuckled at their antics. "Well, it'll be hard for us, but we'll go into the fights! After this, we aren't sure if you're too young to hear these kind of stuff, but once again, you're eight year olds with some being nine!"

I took a deep a breath and prepared to speak. This was going to be a hard one...

The sixteen that had lasted through the perilous obstacle course and braved the calvary battle stood in anticipation of what was to come. Except, one of them wasn't too certain of actually doing it due to being under control the whole time. The speakers rung through the entirety of the cafeteria waking them up to the reality.

Midnight prepared to announce the first battle when suddenly, a person with a bushy tail stood up and prepared to speak. The words that came out shocked the arena to the core; "Well, I'd like to drop out. I don't remember much from the Calvary battle."

Shock grew among the small crowd, well except for one. Raylze may not exactly care about the students themselves, but he could definitely see where Ojiro came from. Despite having natural immunity from mind control, the attempt of prodding into his brain wasn't nice. The platinum blonde looked alongside with everyone else to see if Midnight accepted it.

"I accept it! We'll choose Tetsutesu from the fith place team to replace him." Ojiro looked as if he had regressed a thousand years as he sat down with the renemants of class 1-A. "The first battle will begin!"

With Izuku Midyoria

The green haired boy was nervous. He knew exactly what the purple-haired boy's quirk was yet he was still scared that he would fall victim to the gaze of the boy. Yet his biggest fear wasn't that, he surely could create a quirk to combat it since he wasn't exactly a demigod like Morte, but that was the exact problem. He needed to downplay himself during these battles. Izuku knew that in order to win he wasn't going to make a wave with his quirk- no, it would take too long. He'd use a physical battle. Plus he was sure that Shinsou would counter it anyways.

(In the races, he was boosting the rain aspect of the quirk.)

The dreaded battle announcement from Present Mic came on the intercoms. "First up we have the one who can create typhoons, Izuku Midyoria!"

Deku took a deep breath and moved onwards to the arena. This was the real occasion, not a dream. Not some dumbass fanasty he had. He steadied his breath. He almost didn't hear the "begin!" from Midnight. His head took a great slam into reality.

The words that came out of the lavander haired boy's mouth made him freeze; "You'll never be a proper hero with that quirk. It would only cause further problems."

The green-haired boy could hear the audience in silence along with his classmates booing the boy along with some "you can do it Midoryia!" Most importantly, he saw the horror in the stormy blue eyes of the demigod who had warned him against the quirk, oh yes that was what he almost forgot. It was almost as if he was expecting him to respond. Well... not like he heard worse. Looking to his opponent, he saw genuine regret in his eyes. He wasn't falling for the trick.
