Third Person POV

Normani swiftly made her way past Y/N and leaped at Dinah

"Sorry?! You're sorry? That can't bring back my peace and privacy Dinah! Go tell your girl you're sorry, talking 'bout fucking sorry!" Normani yelled in Dinah's face which caused the polynesian to push her back a little

That move only triggered Normani. The two were like a cat and a dog in a wild fight.

The two somehow ended up on the floor with Normani on top of the polynesian throwing punches where she wasn't blocking.

"All those talking shit about 'Poly beat down' where are your hands now bitch?" Normani asked

Dinah took that as Normani mocking her which caused to find the strength to push Normani off her and fight back

Y/N absorbed the two sets of punches and scratches due to the acrylic nails just to stop the two from fighting

When she realized Normani was not quitting, she picked girlfriend up and threw her over her shoulder

"Let me go!" She yelled at Y/N as the police lieutenant walked away from Dinah

"Stop all that" Y/N said snacking Normani's ass cheek which only caused Normani to bite a piece of Y/N's exposed flesh.

"Ouch! Normani!" Y/N said sternly which caused Normani to take a deep breath

"Y/N let me go" I said a little calmer when the French woman ignored her the first time

Y/N continued until they got to Normani's bedroom. She sat the singer on the bed and went to close the door.

Afterwards, she went and stood in front of her

"Get out my face Y/N" Normani said roughly wiping the angry tears from her eyes.

"I'm not leaving until I see you are calm" He said but gave me personal breathing space.

"I can't believe she would do such a bitch move" the singer said laying down trying to calm down.

Y/N grabbed a bottle of water from the mini fridge in the room and handed it to Normani

"Tiens prends ça (Take this)" she said holding out the bottle of water

The dark-skinned woman sat up and looked at the woman in front of her before she took the bottle from Y/N, whispering a 'thank you" thanking her girlfriend

Y/N laid on the bed pulling Normani with her gently so that the singer was laying on top of her

Normani nuzzled her face into the French woman's neck who chuckled and wrapped her arm around her.

A fee minutes passed as the two laid in comfortable silence until Normani fell asleep

Once Y/N was positive her girlfriend was asleep, she made her way to attend to Dinah who held an ice pack at her nose

"What? Are you gonna fight me too?" The polynesian asked

"Nah... I would but she already did enough damage" Y/N said truthfully which caused Dinah to roll her eyes before wincing in pain and switching the ice pack to her left eye

"I just have a question" Y/N added

"What?" Dinah asked annoyed

"After all those years, why speak up now when Normani and I are together? You had all the time to confess and bring it up but you didn't, you waited until you saw her being happy with someone that isn't you and decided to take that away from her"

"No it's not like that. I knew I liked girls since I was young, Normani didn't so it wasn't easy for me to just randomly bring it up. I don't deal with rejection well as you can see. And then I saw the photo of you two kissing and it angered me because all these years we've been friends I've always known her as being straight, then boom" Dinah expressed

Y/N could understand from the polynesian's point of view but she isn't fully on her side

"Why didn't you at least try to?"

"I did multiple times"

"But you helped set her up on a date with me. Why?" The French woman asked

"Because she's my bestfriend. I want to see her happy"

"Well that stunt you pulled was not in Normani's best interest to make her happy that's for sure"

"You don't think I know that. It wasn't for me either, now the whole world knows I'm gay as well" she gritted

"Close the door on your way out" was all Y/N said before she made her way back to Normani's room to hold her girlfriend

Soon enough she too was fast asleep
