I was still hesitant to just leave pero hindi ko talaga maitago sa sarili ko na natatakot ako.
"Hay..." sambit ko sa sarili ko before fixing our things. Maya maya naman kumatok na si Cholo.
"Hey, everything good?"
"I guess?"
"Lika" sambit niya grabbing my hand leading me to the dining area of the place. I was clueless why but all I was able to do was gasp for the setup I saw.
"I just thought it would be a miss to not even have a special dinner with you in this wonderful place so I asked the staff for this..."
"Cholo..."
"Belated happy anniversary?" Nakangiting sambit niya but all I was able to do was jump to hug him

Poccholo's PoV
I hugged her back and we just found ourselves slowly swaying to the beat of our hearts. This day may have been chaotic and full of unexpected things but at the end of the day, we find peace in each other's arms. Just like before.
"Ang ganda ng sunset, Cholo..."
"You mean literally?" Pang-aasar ko because usually that statement will mean breakup for some couples. I know we won't get to that point. I was just clarifying things haha.
"Of course!! Cholo naman eh!"
"Hahaha. Come on I wanna see my wife smile, what can I do?" Sambit ko but she just turned her head away from me.
I cupped her face to make her look at me.
"Cholo?"
"Hmm?"
"Just don't leave me... don't... don't get tired of me... don't... don't hate me... yun lang sasaya na ko" sambit niya that I smiled in response to her
"Nung hindi mo ko naalala, nagstay ako. What makes you think I'll let you, my wife, go anywhere other than beside me? Hmm?"
She smiled after that.
"There... that's better. Smile, wife. Share your burdens with me. Share your joys, your fears. If you can, share everything with me. I'd gladly accept them all."
"Call me wife again..." sambit niya with her usual puppy eyes this time
"Will you stop worrying and crying if I do?" Paninigurado ko where she just nodded like a kid to answer kaya ako naman yung napangiti ngayon
"Wife... I love you so much" sambit ko straight to her eyes. She hid her face on my chest then I heard little squeals
"Hey? Haha"
"Ang gwapo mo lalo kinikilig akooooo"
"Hahaha wife come on"
"One more!"
"Wife..."
"One more!!"
Just like that, we spent our one night in Palawan with her almost recording my voice calling her wife. Haha. At least she's okay. Then I won't mind repeating myself over and over again
