It's six pm and Adira is at the dining hall waiting on Hazel to arrive.

While Adira is whistling and tapping her left foot to a beat in her mind, Hazel turns the corner and walks up to where Adira's standing but not to close to her. "About time you showed up." Adira says in anger.

Mr D walks up to the girls and spoke. "Right well your, as Chiron has called it 'Detention', is that you have to scrub all of the tables and chairs along with the floor."

"Where's the scrubbers?" Adira asks, causing Mr D to laugh.

"Oh no Amelia-" Mr D says,

"Adira." Adira corrects.

"You and Hally-" Mr D continues.

"Hazel." Hazel corrects.

"Will be using these." Mr D continues saying, before showing the girls two toothbrushes, one red and one purple.

Hazel takes the red and Adira takes the purple. Adira narrows her eyes at the toothbrush, then looks at Mr D. "Is this a joke?" She asks in anger.

"Me taking care of you lot are." Mr D mutters before clapping his hands together loudly. "Right, well. Begin." He then leaves the two girls alone.

The girls begin scrubbing the floors, tables, walls and chairs with their toothbrushes. Hazel was cleaning the wall as Adira was looking at the desk, from underneath. "Oh my Athena. The amount of gum under this table is disgusting." Adira complains.

"And how many pieces belong to you?" Hazel comments.

Adira rolls her eyes. "Do you honestly think I would do such a despicable thing." Adira then looks away from the desk, sighing, then she mutters. "About five or six pieces."

"Called it." Hazel says, before turning to look at Adira. "How in blazing hell, did mash potatoes get on the wall?"

"Clarrisse has a temper." Adira tells her.

"What was there not enough salt?" Hazel says sarcastically.

"Yes actually, that was her reason." Adira says smirking.

"Never thought sarcasm would cause me to be right." Hazel says.

"Was that sarcastic?" Adira asks.

"Yep." Hazel tells her causing Adira to smile.

"You're quiet funny, when you're not trying to steal my title." Adira says.

"It's a title, not a child." Hazel says.

"You could take my child if I go through a straight phase, I don't care for them." Adira mumbles, causing Hazel to laugh and turning to look at Adira.

"You know, you're really funny when you're not trying to shoot an arrow at my head." Hazel tells her.

"I know. I also have a uneece talent." Adira says.

"And what may that be?" Hazel says.

"I can make a mean comment towards someone, and yet, seem like I'm joking." Adira tells her.

"That's a good talent. I just tend to tell them straight." Hazel says.

"That's something I can't do." Adira says.

"Tell them straight?" Hazel asks.

"Be straight." Adira says and both of the girls laugh slightly. Adira then looks at the floor and sees a red, orange and yellow braided bracelet and smiles. "Autumn you sneaky, smart bitch." She mutters before standing up and walking towards Hazel.

Adira then passes the bracelet to Hazel  who takes it out of her hand confused. "Autumn made it. They're friendship bracelets, everyone in our small group has one. Me, Autumn, Dosia and now you."

Hazel smiles and puts the bracelet on her right wrist, smiling. "So, are we friends then."

"Woah. Baby steps Hazel." Adira says, causing both of them to laugh. Before they get back to the detention.
