JUNE 27TH, FRIDAY, MUNSON RESIDENTS

Y/N POV
There I stood, looking in the mirror fixing the dress I wore for my graduation. As but palms glide down the fabric my thoughts run, I always expected this day would come but never thought it would be so soon.

Eddie graduated a year and a half before me and Gareth and is now working as a mechanic. Eddie has come a really long way from the ditch he threw himself into, and has done a lot to climb out of it. I couldn't be more proud of him.

I took a gentle step back to look at my outfit one last time, sighing to get the feeling of stress off my shoulders. (optional)

Eddie and Uncle Wayne already left because they wanted to get good seats, Gareth insisted on waiting for me and was downstairs waiting for me to finish changing. I'm honestly really happy to be able to share this experience with the boy I love so much.

I rubbed some perfume/cologne on my wrists and fixed my hair before heading out of my room and down the stairs.

I make my way down the stairs, the tapping of my shoes against the bare wood giving me a weird satisfaction. My eyes meet Gareths as I reach the end of the stairs, a grin finds a way to Gareth's face as a glint reaches his eyes. "well, how do I look?" I smirk at the cliche quote. "no words can describe how ethereal you look darling.." Gareth walks closer to me gently putting his hands on my waist and looking down at me, the sudden attention making my face flush. I smile and put my hands on his shoulders slightly swaying with him. There was always a peaceful aura with Gareth, whether I was in pajamas watching a movie or in formal attire before your graduation "Dear as much of a sight you are to see, your tie is done wrong" gareths expression changes to one of annoyance "I know meg did it and refused to let me fix it, little brat"

he's different. (Gareth Emerson x reader) Where stories live. Discover now
