will quickly rode home on his bike with a radiant smile on his face. he had finally kissed the guy he had been crushing on for years.

when he got home, he ran inside to his room and jumped on his bed. he pinched himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming, "it actually happened."

when joyce and jonathan came home, they called for will.

he rushed out of his room, "yes?"

"we're going to the chinese restaurant now. are you ready?"

"yeah," even though the kiss happened a few hours ago, will was still smiling. joyce noticed how cheerful will was.

"okay, let's go then."

everyone got into joyce's green car.

"i assume today was a good day for you, will," joyce said.

"yeah, it was like the best day ever."

jonathan looked back at will, "i thought meeting lucas was your best day ever."

"well, yeah, that too."

joyce and jonathan looked at each for a quick second and jonathan shrugged.

eventually, joyce pulled into the chinese restaurant's parking lot. everyone got out and entered the restaurant. a host brought them to a table that would fit at least 3 people.

"so, what happened at school today?" joyce asked while looking at the menu.

will contemplated about whether or not he should tell them about kissing mike. "um, we basically just watched movies in every class."

"and that's your best day ever?" jonathan gave his brother a questioning look.

"and, um, well..."

"well?" joyce put down her menu.

a waitress came by and asked if she could get them started with anything.

"just three waters please. thank you." joyce's and jonathan's attention was drawn back to will. "you were saying?"

will knew his face was turning red, "someone said they liked me."

"that's great, will! who was it?"

"i don't wanna say..."'

jonathan pretended like he didn't know who will was talking about. he knew their mom would freak out if will said mike wheeler.

"do you like them?" will nodded and joyce smiled, "that's exciting."

on the ride home, will's favorite song started to play on the radio. jonathan turned it up.

joyce laughed, "you guys will never get sick of this song, huh?"

jonathan walked into will's room and shut the door behind him, "you guys dating now?"

"i don't know but we kissed."

"if he hurts you-"

"-then you'll kick his ass even though he's a varsity soccer player."

"do i have to remind you again that i fought steve harrington and won?" they both laughed, "okay, i'll leave you alone now," jonathan walked out.

will checked his phone to see if he got anything from mike. his heart slightly dropped when he didn't get any texts from mike. he checked instagram and still nothing.

"huh. maybe he's busy. i'll just text him first." he sent a message along the lines of "are we dating now?"
