We both got to the house and sat down on the couch. We didn't see Saud downstairs, so we figured he was upstairs. We went over the things Zach was going to tell him just so we were on the same page. When we figured it out Zach went upstairs to find Saud. I was scared of what Saud would say after Zach told him.

I sat on the couch waiting for Zach to come back. I tried not to do the thing with my hands when I'm nervous. Zach came downstairs shaking his head.

"He's not up there."

I gave him a confused look and got off the couch.

"Then where could he be?"

We both thought about it then Zach looked at me.

"I might know where he is. Just stay here."

He sat me down on the couch and went out the front door. I stared at the door waiting for it to open. I had no idea why Saud would be outside, but Zach seemed pretty confident. I sat there waiting for them to come in. I was looking at my hands when the door finally opened. I looked up as Saud and Zach walk in.

"Saud! I promise I didn't mean it that way. Let's just go upstairs and talk about it."

"No! I'm done talking about it to anyone! I'm tired of people always telling me to forget about it just because it's been a long time. I'm tired of it!"

I sat up staring at both of them. Saud looked at me with teary eyes then walk upstairs slamming the door.

I looked at Zach who just looked down at the floor. I got up and walked over to him.

"What was that about?"

All he did was look at the ground and shake his head.

"If you want to know talk to Saud about it. But right now I'm going somewhere to relax and be happy. So I'm not stuck in this depressing air that I'm breathing."

He walked out the door leaving me.

I stood there processing all that happened. I turned and walked to the steps. I took a deep breath and walked upstairs. I walked up to the bedroom door and softly knocked on it. I didn't hear anything so I knocked again and still didn't hear anything. I put my hand on the doorknob and turned it. The door opened and I was confused, why wouldn't he lock it? I walked in and he wasn't on the bed. But then I saw the bathroom door was closed with the light on. I went up to the door and softly knocked on it.

"If it's Zach then go away." His voice was sad and muffled. I could tell he's been crying.

"What if it's Anne?" I said quietly.

There was silence for a while before he talked again.

"I guess you can stay."

I smiled and sat down leaning against the door.

"Can I come in?"

"You don't want to see me right now." He chuckled.

"Well, I don't care what you look like I just want to make sure you're okay."

He didn't say anything for a long time.

"I'm okay."

"You say that, but I don't think you mean it."

The room went silent again so I put my head on the door.

"Saud, I don't know what to do. I'm confused and I feel like I'm writing a book and I don't even know the full story. Everything's happening so fast, things I didn't even know were possible. Looking back on it Imagining my mom dead, I'm thankful I get to play in the games-."
