Introduction

Authors Note: Hey all, first off I want to say that this is my first ever work to be published. This was initially written for a project in English but I want to give a shoutout to my friends who pushed and motivated me to upload this ( you know who you are :) ) Writing is something that inspires and motivates me to think creatively and experience different point of views. And I hope to write even more stories for you all to read and enjoy!!

Anyways lets get to know about the 4 girls or maybe 5 of this story.

Amiya: the main character/protagonist. An 18 year old girl who gets along with everyone and every standard expected of her. The classic golden child and overachiever sweetheart who suffers behind closed doors with her identity and self being. She struggles to show what is real and unintentionally puts a façade for everyone even herself. She doesn't know how to really express herself and puts aside her emotions and desires behind everyone else, in other words she's a people pleaser.  

Misaki: One of Amiya's best friends. Also an 18 year old girl but has a bit of a temper. Easily irritated by everything and anything. Has an issue with so called perfection and people who fit that name. Gets into arguments in just a snap of a finger and will wreck havoc if things don't go her way. She puts herself first rather compared to Amiya. 

Katlyn: One of Amiya's best friends. She's the youngest of the group being 17, yet she is the more mature and responsible of them all. Often joked and named the mom of the friend group, she is the one who keeps Misaki on track and in control. Like Amiya, she puts others first but understands her priorities and wishes. She is the most calm and patient one from the gang.

Annette: One of Amiya's best friends. Now where would all the fun be if there was no jokester in the group. Also 18 and the oldest from the 4 girls, she is the most childish and humorous one. She cheers up everyone with her cringe jokes but her laugh enough does the job. Always teasing Misaki for the fun of it she often gets scolded by Katlyn as Amiya watches and adores her friends.

Ami: The split personality of Amiya, the antagonist. She's everything opposite of Amiya, from being selfish to being arrogant. She knows and understands Amiya's struggles and problems; she wants to own them and let Amiya be her perfect friend. She manipulates and twists Amiya into her desired personality wanting her to accept Ami and get rid of Amiya. She came to existence ever since the beginning of Amiya's struggle as she understood the problems she goes through. She loves haunting Amiya through mirrors and taunting her.
