Tale 2: The Cupcake Convention

The open road had been vast and wide as a minivan had been along with the traffic. Inside the minivan had been a set of familiar people. The small group had been Adofo Chukwuemeka and his girlfriend Pinkamena Diane Pie or as her friends call her Pinkie Pie, Marinette Dupain-Cheng with her boyfriend, Adrien Agreste, Tyrian Rose Callows and his girlfriend Elsie, Accelerator and Journey, and of course Star Butterfly with her boyfriend, Marco Diaz.

"78 Strawberry Cupcakes on the wall, 78 Strawberry cupcakes!" Pinkie sang, "Take one down, pass it around, 78 Strawberry Cupcakes on the wall!"

"Well there goes the hours I'll never get back." Accelerator said with a scowl.

"But it's a cute song you know." Journey said with a smile.

"It really is." Elise said.

"Uhh Coach Yami. Not that We don't mind--" Adrien said, "--But isn't this minivan Sunset's?"

"Couldn't she just drive us?" Adofo added.

Yami had replied as he took a puff, "And let a kid ride the road? Are you insane?"

"My brother has a driver's license and he's older than me." Adofo told him.

"Didn't he crash it the last time?" Tyrian asked.

"That's because some wacko decided to dance in the middle of the street!" Adofo told them

"But that was you wasn't it?" Marinette said.

"Mari, not everything I do has to be insane!" Adofo said as he bonked her on the head. "Plus that was the Dazzlings that did that."

"Which we stopped with the help of our new members!" Pinkie said as she patted Star on the back, "Nice use of those Strawberries, Star!"

"Oh Pinkamena, you spoil me." Star said as the girls laughed.

"Marco I don't mind but I can't believe SunShim let this psycho join the team." Adofo said. "I'm gonna give her a scolding later."

"Aren't you being a bit harsh?" Tyrian asked him.

"Oh Tyri, if only you knew." Adofo said as he patted his back.

"More importantly, why am I on this trip again?" Accelerator said.

Yami replied, "Think of it as your break from the gloom and doom after getting out of rehab."

"But a Cupcake Convention?" He said, "That doesn't suit a guy like me."

"That's true--You're not a big fan of sweets." Journey said.

Pinkie gasped with horror as she said, "You never had a cupcake?!"

"I had them once and I didn't like them." Accelerator replied almost immediately.

"Though he is partial to coffee cake." Elise said, "According to Tyrian."

Pinkie gasps before she went into Accelerator's face. "You are having a sweet treat today, Accelerator."

"No." He said before shoving her off, "I think I might just skip on that."

"No one can do there." Yami said, "You gotta look after Journey since it's her first time at any convention, don't forget."

Accelerator rolled his eyes, "The one time, I let the Hero switch with me on our Summer Job."

"That reminds me--" Journey said, "--Aren't you going to the convention too Yami?"
